Pros: 1. The serving size is 1 capsule, not 2 (unlike some competing products which try to dupe their customers into thinking they will get twice as much Mg per pill or capsule than they actually will) 2. Relatively small, low-friction capsules that are easy to swallow 3. Reasonably priced, though not the least expensive 4. Simple, relatively non-toxic ingredients Cons (all minor): 1. The included magnesium compounds are listed as Mg oxide, Mg citrate, and Mg aspartate, with the latter two being better absorbed by the gut and also more expensive. I wrote the manufacturer to ask what the proportions of these 3 compounds were, with the assumption that almost all of it was Mg oxide. I received the following response: The Magnesium Caps formula is proprietary. The vast majority is oxide form. 2. Although the capsules are easy to swallow, they do have a thin coating of white powder, perhaps the same material thats inside them. That powder does cause mild irritation/burning in the throat and esophagus unless followed by swallowing ample beverage or food. Though not perfect, this seems like the best Mg product out there for the value, and I plan to purchase it again.

Iem received as described. Ive only been taking these for a week (to help with anxiety and depression) but my quality of sleep has already improved. I havent changed anything in my life other than adding this supplement so Im looking forward to feeling the full benefits.

My gastro dr. Recommend this brand of magnesium as well as the vitamin. For my constipation. It works great for that. One or two a day at bedtime. So much better then other products meant for that.. there is also a magnesium with citrate that’s a lot stronger for that..this has it but a smaller amount. I worked for a gastroenterologist for 15 yrs and the product we used for a procedure was magnesium citrate in a liquid form..very strong. This vitamin is very gentle. Interesting what people write in the reviews for the reasons they take it.. I had no idea, so that’s good...

This product gave me Bloody Stool within 24 hours of taking it. Bleeding stopped when I stopped taking it. I tried it again 2 weeks later and same bloody stool occurred.

Blood tests have maintained within normal limits while taking this supplement as directed.

I was exhausted for over a year, then I discovered I felt way better after a steak, or red meat, the next day. So I looked up what was in red meat. ....Magnesium, among other things like potassium and B vitamins. My life has never been the same since I started taking at least MAG, Zinc, and vita D with K3.

These are great. I take them at night and they make me so sleepy and calm. Highly recommend

I like the Now brand, and this is a good magnesium supplement. Its not the most effective one Ive taken, but it works and its a lot more cost efficient than the brand that I like the most. I would still recommend this. I take magnesium for sleep and when I get headaches.
