This is a super easy and functional house for my Syrian hamster! He took to it right away and he loves it! The walls are thick enough to stand up to the hamsters, definitely sturdy, and it’s easy to wipe down if something gets on it.

My Dwarf hamster loves it! I put it on top of a few inches of bedding. My hamster built his secret tunnels under it. Its also a good place to put his food and water bowl. Recommend!

I bought 2 compartment large for my syrian. Because I didnt think and of the other sizes would fit. It turned out amazing my hamster loves it and uses ut all the time. The product is thick and came with a piece of sand paper to smooth out it needed.

If you’ve never purchased anything from Niteangel, you need to! Everything is made so well and is durable. We purchased the small hideout and it’s large for our dwarf hamster.

Had to return the first for being damaged beyond repair. This second one was still broken, see picture. Overall another good product from Niteangel minus this issue. Wish it would come with a base for glass cages. The roof overhangs the sides a bit not allowing it to sit flush in corners.

Love this little house and so does my hamster. It is wood, so be aware it wont stay perfect forever if your hamster chooses to pee on it. I did purchase the additional cork pad to put on top.

my hamster loves this hideout so much! she burrows in it and always uses it to store her food. it’s always the perfect size for her cage and it’s perfect to use as a food and water stand on the top of it :)

I was worried this would be too small for our rats, but it fits them perfectly! They are girls, so they are more on the petite side fyi. I also took out the divider on the one side so there is more room for them. Our girls love this hide! They usually hord their food in it. I would definitely recommend for rats if they are on the smaller side. I feel like if they were any bigger, it would be a tight squeeze.

I really really liked using this as a nest box for mice. It was the perfect material and size. Unfortunately, one of my young mice was crushed in between the lid and the box by the other mice and killed. Therefore I feel that the design is not safe for small mammals, especially if intending to have more than one animal.

this is my second time buying this product, and it has to be my favorite hideout ever. both of my hamsters enjoy it (separate cage dw) and they’re always in it. only thing is, after a few months, the pee will make the wood get soggy, so i’d just buy a new one every few months. other than that, it’s great!
