I love this little house. We used it so that our dwarf hamster can reach his exercise wheel that we attached to the side of the cage. Its fun to lift the lid to see him curled up inside. He also peeks through the top hole which is super cute. The only downside is it looks like he may have peed on the lid and Im unable to get the stain out of the unfinished wood.

Im a big fan of niteangel, they are one of the few places Ive found that cater to larger hamsters. Their quality of all their items is also very good. The hide is a large size and made with a very sturdy wood material. The construction also looks very clean, everything fits together well and there are no bits of visible glue or anything like that. Just overall a great quality product from a very good shop.

this is one of the best hides you can buy! the multiple chambers help her stay in the dark when lights are on or the windows are open! she ended up using one room to sleep, one room to poo in lol

I decided to buy this for my hamster after reading another reviewer mention how their hamster used one side for sleeping and one side for the bathroom (since their hamster didnt like to leave his hiding area during the day). I remembered a past hamster I had who would pee in her hiding area for the same reason. So, I purchased this and my current hamster sleeps on one side and uses the other as his litter box. It is wonderful that I dont have to dismantle his nest in order to clean up urine spots. It is very easy to just clean out the side he uses as a litter box every other day, and go a week or so between full cage changes since the rest of the cage stays pretty clean! FYI, the lid is not connected to the box- but there are two little bumps which help hold it in place where you want it. I like to leave the lid lightly askew (but still sturdy in place) in order to vent the litter box side of the box, so it doesnt vent thru his bedroom. I appreciate the flexibility to do this. (You can view how I have the lid slightly askew in my photo, the hiding box is partially hidden as I have it placed underneath the second floor of my hamsters cage.) Keep in mind it is large and can take up decent space in your cage, but if you have the minimum recommended cage size for a Syrian hamster it works. I highly recommend this product in order to potentially greatly improve the cleanliness of your hamster and their cage!

this thing is great! my hamster loves it and it’s the only thing he uses now! a little pricey but definitely worth it in my opinion!

My hamster loves this house so much, she likes to stay in it all the time. Its the perfect size for her, and really helpful for me for cleaning. The roof comes off so its very easy to clean inside the house without taking it out, as my hamster does everything in there (including peeing and pooping). Highly recommend for syrian hamsters!

My daughter loves the Niteangel products! She has filled her hamster palace with several of their products. We did have one item arrive damaged, but the company was great to work with and was able to get her a replacement product. Definitely recommend their products!

We have one of these for all 3 of our hamsters and they love them. They took to them immediately and use them for their beds and their food storage. Its fun to watch them create burrows inside. I got the large size, the small I dont think is large enough for their main shelter. This gives them room, privacy and security.

Lost my mouse Pikachu because she was crushed under the lid, she was paralyzed from her waist down :( and shortly after passed away. If you use this I suggest removing the lid completely or just buy a safer hideout for your pets.
