I ordered it for my pet mice , the material was looking promising, but arrived in pieces, broken. If you get lucky and yours come full intact and holds together in the long run, I am in envy , because I liked the idea.

If you are getting this for a/multiple mice... DO NOT GET IT!!!! I just came home from work and found one of my mice DEAD/CRUSHED.. I have 5 mice and I loved this hide originally... She must have tried to push up the top to climb over one of the sections and got stuck with the wall/seperation crushing her stomach.. If you have delicate small pets DO NOT buy this.

I love it. I didn’t expect how big it is. They provide the sandpaper which I only use to sand down the hole little more (not really necessary). Everything else is perfect for my Syrian hamster.

I bought the large version for my Chinese Hamster. It fits easily in my Prevue 528 hamster enclosure. The shelf/platform it provides even has room for my 10 inch hamster wheel. My hamster went right inside and made herself at home.

For the price, its AMAZING. Its sturdy, the top comes off, and your rodent will lovee it. The material is a light, but quality wood. My hamster loves it in there and since the top comes off, you can always have a peek and check in now and then. Its a must buy for less than 15 bucks. Dont waste $20+ on paper thin wood castles that fall apart in one week. This is a MUST HAVE HIDEOUT

My hamster absolutely loves this. She immediately made it her home. The top comes off which makes it easier to clean if your hamster is one to pick a certain area to potty. It is wood though so over time if your hamster gets pee on it, it will soak into the wood and eventually get a bit gross. But I think it can last a while before youd need to get a new one. I like to put my hamsters food and water on top so she doesnt push bedding into it. (I give her water in a bowl). My hamster loves it which makes this worth the buy.
