I’ve been needing a pad that could keep my sister cat warm since she loves getting on the laptops. The instructions say it’ll warm up within 30-40 minutes but it warmed up less than that which I loved. Will definitely buy another one!!

I bought this to keep a couple goat kids warm. It worked perfectly. The heat is warm to the touch but not ever hot. Just enough to make your pets comfortable

This is my cat’s absolute favorite thing, so much so that we emptied out a shelf in our TV stand for it. I can’t count how many hours she’s used it, and any time I take the cover off to wash it, she gets very concerned and upset until I put it back. She uses it after meals too, so I know it’s helping her digest her food. She’s a senior kitty, so I have to imagine that the heat does wonders for her joints. She’ll also lie on it for a while, then go lie down on the carpet when she gets too warm, then go back on when she’s cooled off. We leave ours on constantly and we’ve never had an issue, although I wouldn’t necessarily recommend that for everyone. My cat would definitely get off if it got too hot. All in all, I would recommend that anyone with a cat should have a heating pad like this one. I will say that I can’t attest to it being chew-proof, because my cat has never thought to chew on it and probably wouldn’t bite hard enough to do any damage even if she did. So be careful if you’re using this for a dog or a cat that likes to chew on things. tl;dr cats like being warm, get this for your cat.

Both of my cats love this heating mat. I just saw them fight over it for the first time today, so I may need to get a second one in the future. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I really wish it had an automatic setting where it would shut off on its own after a certain amount of hours. We arent always comfortable leaving it on when we arent home because it has to just stay plugged in if you want to use it. The cats still lay on it sometimes when it isnt on, but I wish I had more confidence in leaving it on 24/7 for my kitties. The one thing Im glad for is that it says it only heats to a maximum temperature of about 105°F (7° higher than a humans normal body temp), and it says it self adjusts its temp for energy efficiency when in use (i.e. turns down the heat a little when kittys body heat is added to the warmth). Other than the automatic turnoff feature being missing, Ive got nothing bad to say about it. We are happy customers.

Got this as a comfort for my 18 year old cat who is struggling with the cooler months in New England. It provides a nice passive warmth and he loves it! I was a little concerned with it being on constantly but the build quality seems very solid and the temp constant. Although it’s not UL listed, it is listed with the European agency that performs equivalent safety assessments. I actually went so far as to contact them to verify the certification matched the product and it all checked out. Very happy with the product.
