I’ve purchased many pet heating pads over the years and this one is below par. I’m currently using this cat bed and another and the other one has a much better heating system and padding. Will likely give this away and looking to replace with the same branding of the one that’s a bit warmer. Cat is still cold with this one.

My 17 year old cat is now devoted to the heating pad. It does not seem overly warm to me, but she likes it just fine.

My kitty is getting older and my house is drafty. She was resting on laptops and cable boxes to get warm. I tried regular heating pads for humans, but they certainly arent designed for pets. I worried they would be too warm for a kitty. I love this Pet Heating Pad and so does she! The product description is right... it wont feel really hot to your touch on the surface, but feel underneath it! It gets really warm. Thats how nice it feels under your pet. I left it on 24/7 for the first week until she understood what it was. Now I may need to leave it on 24/7 because she is always on it! I bought a second to keep in another room for her. The controls are nice and you have a variety of timer options to choose from or it can remain on continuously. The cord is really sturdy and a nice length. I am really pleased!

Our cat likes the heating pad. However, two months after receiving (warranty good for 30 days), buttons work intermittently. Cat likes level one. When turning unit on, default is level 3. Therefore, I must cycle through 4 cycles to get to level 1. The “heat” button seems to be wearing out and slow to respond. On/off button now working sporadically. Would like to recommend but can’t. Too expensive to work for two months.

The heat factor is inconsistent. I have a couple of the pads but I cover them with a thick towel. They can be on the same setting but not put out the same heat.

Both of my cats love this heating mat. I just saw them fight over it for the first time today, so I may need to get a second one in the future. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I really wish it had an automatic setting where it would shut off on its own after a certain amount of hours. We arent always comfortable leaving it on when we arent home because it has to just stay plugged in if you want to use it. The cats still lay on it sometimes when it isnt on, but I wish I had more confidence in leaving it on 24/7 for my kitties. The one thing Im glad for is that it says it only heats to a maximum temperature of about 105°F (7° higher than a humans normal body temp), and it says it self adjusts its temp for energy efficiency when in use (i.e. turns down the heat a little when kittys body heat is added to the warmth). Other than the automatic turnoff feature being missing, Ive got nothing bad to say about it. We are happy customers.

This pet mat is perfect. Has lots of heat and timer settings. Most important, our older cat loves to sleep on this mat. She spends most of her time sleeping on this mat and she is happy as a clam.
