I’m very happy with this switch, it’s well made and reasonably priced. The 8 ports are more than enough for most home setups. My only complaint was the instructions were awful and that’s why I deducted one star. I had to call customer service to clarify something and the hold time was extremely long. That said once I got my answer it’s been smooth sailing. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs additional Ethernet ports.

8-port switch works as advertised. Excellent little device. Very Easy to setup. Had it up and running in minutes even though I had to perform a factory reset before I could see it on my network.

This is an excellent product that you dont have to worry about it. I installed one of these about more than a year ago and is working 24/7 without any failure or complaint

Slows down the speed

I didnt want to believe all the talk of netgear switches being unreliable...so I bought this switch because the price was attractive. But I deeply regret my purchase now. Its been less than 2 months and the switch just died. No connection to any ethernet port...without any ethernet cable plugged into the switch, the link lights stay on at random, which indicates that its stuck in some sort of weird fault condition...and there is absolutely no way to reset it (no reset button). In this time when people are working from home, you need reliability in your networking products and netgear has proven to be trash.

Good, basic gigabit switch. Plug n play as an unmanaged switch should be. Good throughput and never had a problem with Netgear longevity.

I installed this over the weekend and it has done the job. Pretty basic unit, but thats all I needed. Arrived by the date promised. Great!

I bought one for one of the racks in my 3d print farm. Works fine, no issues or complaints. Its a small gig switch. Not much else to say about it.

It is exactly as expected. Plug and play. If you live in Canada the app does not support this device as per today but you can still register the product on a desktop...Very solid build. It doesnt look like a toy at all...highly recommended.

The switch was needed to allow the use of my gigabyte lan speed. Works great!
