NETGEAR 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch (GS308) - Home Network Hub, Office Ethernet Splitter, Plug-and-Play, Silent Operation, Desktop or Wall Mount

> 3 dayIf buying a true managed switch is not an option for you, and your router software allows for assigning different sub-networks to each port, then for ~$20 this little switch is a super cheap and compact working solution. I have another one like this that can supply power (PoE), which one has caused zero issues over the last 12 months. So I trust that Netgear got this one right. I also like that it has a separate power supply, vs. built-in. More cbles, but easier to replace.

> 3 dayNetgear builds their products without sacrificing quality for profit. I have replaced all of my other brands with the Netgear line.

> 3 dayGreat product easy to setup and use. Quality is sturdy so not worried about it breaking soon. The network bandwidth is very good on this. Each port is on a separate collision domain.

> 3 dayWas plug and play like specified, very easy to setup. No problems whatsoever. Well worth the price I bought it for

> 3 dayDoes what it’s supposed to - the only thing I’d like to see improved is the web UI. Other than that, I mainly just wanted it for the VLAN functions.

> 3 dayVery upset I paid extra for the managed version then find out I ALSO have to pay a monthly subscription fee or it turns my switch into an unmanaged version.

> 3 dayYes, Netgear is the very best provider of efficient and reliable network switches. This 8 port switch connects several devices and computers day & night seemlessly switching data at 1G. When you fill up your 5 port Netgear switch, move up to 8 :)
