> 3 dayI really wanted a managed router and what it would entail and Im pleased with the end result, but I found the Netgear mobile app a little limited and the web UI is also a little clunky. Unless Im just being dumb, once you click to go into the update firmware section, you cant get back. A good quick start guide to configuration (I know you need to plug it into the network and the power) would be welcome.

> 3 dayEverything I needed. There is an app that allows you to actually configure the device by phone. Very easy to setup. Turned my one RJ45 wall jack into 7 usable ports to increase ethernet connectivity since I dont like using wireless for my office gear.

Greater than one weekIf you need an 8-port unmanaged switch that is a dead simple easy set it and forget it device, heres your model. Runs silent, no fan. Has two mounting slots on the bottom of the case that can be used to assist in securing it, if desired.

Greater than one weekLoaded all eight ports, it runs like a champ, delivers the whole 400MB/S internet access across Cat 6 shielded cabling, as advertised, with 1.2 GB/S transfers within the network, a little faster even than rated exactly as do the others in my network. Netgear makes great stuff, from the wireless router to the 3 Netgear hubs in my home network, the pieces run and run without thought once installed. Kudos!
