Lasted around the year before I started having issues. Ports tend to drop connections I remove the switch from the equation and all issues are resolved

I trust Netgear product in general. My old device ran for long time, maybe ten years. Several instances happened in my home network. It looked like to be instability of the switch. But after I replaced it with this new one, my network problem remained. So it was not the switch at all. But I am keeping the new one.

Reliable for wired connections. Remember its not wireless and there is No management. Plug in and go. Gigabit connection and WORKS.

This product did what it was suppose to do and what I needed for since the router is far away from my computer.

I’m still not an IT or computer wizard. Using this device with a CM1000 modem. Installed the modem, ran cat 6 cable from the modem to my WiFi router. Ran cat 6 cable from router to the switch (gs308). Ran various cables from other devices to the switch such as a WiFi access point from the garage (ring cameras), a smart tv, a couple computers. Have had no problems. It is nice to hook something up and forget about it. Would recommend this switch.

used this to connect all the ports in my house, great product. Only wish I would of bought the ones that provide power to the Cat5 cable. But this is fast and works great and good price.

I have used Netgear products forever and they have never failed me. In fact they have exceeded all of my expectations in every application. They R&D their products probably more than any competitor. I will always use Netgear and would recommend them to anyone who wants quality products with no issues and at a very good price.

It just works and does for quite modest price, what else do you need? I get up to 880 Mbps speed over home LAN (iperf), some degradation could be attributed to imperfect house wiring.
