NETGEAR 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch (GS308) - Home Network Hub, Office Ethernet Splitter, Plug-and-Play, Silent Operation, Desktop or Wall Mount

I had an older 8-channel ethernet switch which seemed to have occasional dropouts. It was also running warm. This was truly plug and play. I did not have to anything other than plug it into an AC outlet then plug in the ethernet cables and it worked as it was supposed to.

As reviewed by other, this does not come with AU plug. Unless you are desperate, this does not fit the purpose and goes back as a return

Great product

Randomly the switch will not pass data anymore after a power outage. All connected equipment is fine in both directions and on the same power strip. Annoying but it wasn’t expensive.

TLDR; Dead after 6months, 1yr warranty only covers physical appearance and not functionality..

Works great and good value

Purchased for bedrooms Ethernet run. Have all ports uses by various devices (Smart TV, Xbox Series x, Apple TV, PC, Switch) with no issues, no setup and full speed. Would recommend.

RELIABILITY

Not our first, and probably not our last. Excellent service, until lightning hits it. Very reliable and easy to install.

Plug and play. No problems, no setup required. Just plugged in a few devices and they connected normally. Price is good, shipping is fast, packaging was done right. I wish more tech products could be made to this standard.
