Nice compact WiFi hub that was needed for my home office application. Great for visual confirmation that you have a working signal going to and from your connected device. Netgear devices have always been a great option for me. I would buy again but I have one more spot left to fill before I add on.

I use a lot of Netgear switches in jobs and they always seem to work great. I see that other people have some issues with them which is caused by connecting the WAN to a wrong port. Just a note for others. the GS switches have a specific port to connect them to the WAN and if connected differently the performance will drop.

I placed near TV and entertainment center. Instead of running 6-150ft Ethernet cable to each electronic device. Wi-Fi to slow.

It is exactly as expected. Plug and play. If you live in Canada the app does not support this device as per today but you can still register the product on a desktop...Very solid build. It doesnt look like a toy at all...highly recommended.

I recently had several network switches fail due to a nearby lightning strike. Ultimately I discovered poor grounding at my cable-tv entrance box. In theory, the lightening traveled through the cable modem and took out most of my hardwired network, except the Netgear ProSafe switches. In all cases, these things survived.
