> 3 dayNot much to say, works perfectly as does all my other Netgear equipment (two 8-port gigabit switches, a 5-port gigabit switch and a 5-port 10/100 switch.)

> 3 dayFirst Amazon had issues shipping and just canceled. I complained and they refunded my money and sent me a replacement for free. I have a hard time calling it a replacement when they never sent it in the first place. A week later it died. I believe it was refurbished because I had troubles setting it up with the provided credentials. I did a factory reset and no more issues, that indicates it was previously setup. Now Amazon would give me a hard time on replacing a product that was already replaced for free. I contacted Netgear support that gave me the run arround, asked me to used a DMM meter to triage the problem. After the 3rd round of questions and try this, I quit! FREE Garbage!

> 3 dayThis is NOT a wifi router! It’s a switch. Essentially a splitter for ethernet lines... Plug line 1 into the source of your network signal (like your cable modem) and plug your other devices into it. Plug the power cord in and wait about ten seconds. Watch the blinking lights.

> 3 dayI purchased this in 2017 for my first home Ethernet system. We were signed up for 100m cable internet at the time and it worked well. This switch is gigabyte ready. 2022 and a new company is offering 600m fiber internet with TV for a little less than the cable company that boost to 200m for free to try and retain customers. After the installation, the internet looked good. Then later the same day the tv started buffering. I checked the speed and every test was different. No internet, 10m, 100m, 300m. The next day it stabilized at 97. I plugged my router into the fiber interface and it was showing 630m, I plugged into the router about the same, I plugged into the switch and 97m. I don’t know what the life of a residential use switch is but at some point we reached it and didn’t know till we upgraded our home internet. I went with TP-Link switch this time.
