Setup was a breeze and it works even better than I had hoped for. I was so easy I dont understand why I didnt get one long before I did.

It does everything it needs to off the back of the cable modem to provide more wired internet ‘outlets.’. Worked perfectly right out the box.

En mi experiencia, la instalación no fue sencilla. Según el manual, todo comienza con que conectes el switch y el teléfono al router, usas la aplicación Insight. Pero no encontraba el switch y hasta la fecha a veces encuentra el switch a veces no. Tampoco encontré el switch con la IP predeterminada. Tuve que usar las herramientas de Netgear para encontrar la IP del switch. Toda la configuración la tuve que hacer manualmente, que de todos modos, lo iba a hacer, pero según debe ser sencillo. Hasta que no lo configure, no pude conectar mis dispositivos a Internet. En general me gusto, y me ha respetado el ancho de banda, pero requiere que tengas conocimientos basicos en redes o mucha paciencia para poder configurarlo.

Since I was not looking for a smart switch, this was more than adequate. I was able to hook each room and TV to the switch so I could watch movies from different computers.

I love this product and its a great value. I needed to separate the traffic on my home network and this switch allowed me to pull some of the devices off one of my networks. The connected devices allow me to stream flawlessly.

I use two of these and both are perfect. Highly recommend.
