It does exactly what it says: 8 gigabit ports. Not manageable at all, no vlans, nothing, just a switch. Very well constructed.

I bought this to help upgrade my relatives homes internet. Luckily their house was already wired with ethernet cat5e cable. I had to get this switch so all their rooms can get a wired internet connection.

I have needed to add a switch for some time. The particular hub I utilize, has only 1 output; It’s been a pain. Not anymore! It’s safe to state: This review, has to be one of the easiest to write. I actually, thought it was like an old switch I had, back in the day, that labeled one input for your internet, then the rest were outputs; basically a relay, without power. This is powered and I reluctantly had to find another plug, but That’s where the disappointment stops.

Works as advertised, reasonable price too.
