works well with the existing netgear switch. Plug and play. I needed to upgrade my SOHO space from 5 to 8 ports, and this did the trick.

Great switch! We upgraded our 12 year old Netgear switch (which still worked fine) to this one. What a difference it made. It greatly increased our speed. Definitely recommend Netgear as their products seem to last quite awhile.

Nice for IT tech personnel and to keep on backpack for emergency use..

Not much else to say. Every so often (weekly-ish) this switch stops working (meaning any devices depending on it for network connectivity are disconnected) and needs to be power-cycled. Totally unacceptable.
