> 3 dayThese are my first pair from Meze and I absolutely love these headphones. I got them primarily for travel, as I was very excited about these having good sound regardless of how much (or little) audio set-up you have. Its awesome to be able to plug these into any device and see them produce with the included plug adapters (including one for airplanes) being a nice touch. What I wasnt expecting was how much I enjoy using them around the house and in both sound and aesthetics they happily stack up with headphones that are double or triple (or more) of the cost. The build quality is great, they sound amazing, they look even better, and these Classics are seriously making me consider trying the Empyreans. Very pleased with Meze!

> 3 dayI bought these headphones (used) on Amazon a few years ago after considering the Oppo and Fidelio X2. While these arent end-game headphones, these are excellent well rounders. Comfort- 4/5; Not as good as the Philips 9500, but pretty good for upright listening. Leaning back, these slide a bit. A bit of compromise due to the weight and materials. Sound Unamped- These are low impedence headphones that you plug it straight into your phone or computer. At first, I was not really impressed. These werent as good as the Philips 9500, but isolated better and looked nicer. Sound Amped- With a good amplifier/DAC- (I used the Massdrop Grace DAC and Cavalli tube hybrid), this headphone sounds significantly better. It sounds uncannily like the Sennheiser 6XX. Excellent musicality and texture. Fairly wide soundstage *for a closed headphone*, but not as much as a good open headphone. Excellent bass. Nice, textured trebles. Liquid mids (with the right source). Isolation- These are not as isolating as the excellent Sony soundblocking headphones. These block sound about as well as the ATHM50 (if Im not mistaken). All in all, they can take the edge off things. While there are better headphones (at higher cost), these headphones are just good enough that I can hold off on getting new ones. In a sense, these headphones have probably saved me several grand in headphone envy. -Matt ps. I can highly recommend the audioengine D3 to power this amp. Its not as creamy or black as the Cavalli CTH, but is noticeably better than plugging directly into a laptop headphone out.

> 3 dayAnother set of headphones to add to my ever growing collection. I was worried about buying these at this price considering I could easily have spent the money on more well known and more powerful headphones but Im glad I did. These have definitely made it to my top headphones display area. They fit nicely next to all my other heavy hitters (Sennheiser HD8DJs, HD6XXs, HD700s & Hifiman Sundaras) They fit nicely on my head. Very comfortable. No pressure on the top of my head or ears. The pads dont get hot (however depending on your head & ear shape your mileage may vary. Sound quality wise these blew me away. I wasnt expecting them to sound as good as they do. Even though they sound great through my current setup (RME adi-2 FS DAC & Drop THX AAA 789 all runned with balanced cables) what surprised me the most was just plugging these into my Fiio X5 portable music player was how amazing they sound without all that high end gear. My only mild complaint would be the headphone Jacks on the cups. Even though the connections are 3.5mm the port they plug into is very narrow so finding a non Meze replacement cable is gonna be difficult. I wanted to run these with a balanced XLR cable. Newfantasia has a pair on Amazon Im gonna order but I wish my spare 3.5mm XLR cable worked but it is what it is. I have no regrets! If you are even remotely concidering these just buy them! You wont be disappointed. May sound better with good gear but even just plugged into your phone or mp3 player you are really in for a treat.

> 3 dayBeautiful. Great sound. Comfortable. Isolate sound well. Have had these for over a year and use them for watching movies at night. Bought Dakoni pads which are more comfortable than the stock ones. Perfect for movies since these are detailed with lots of substance in the base. Also great all-rounders if you can equalize them. Have a set of Qudelix 5xs which come with EQ profiles for this, which balances out the sound more favorably. Cons: Wish they hit faster

> 3 dayThis is my first foray into Hi-Fi Headphones and I’m truly impressed. I thought my Bose Earbuds were good, but these are incredible. I’m hearing things in my music I’ve never heard before. I don’t know how to characterize the sound so I won’t, but they are amazing. They are incredibly comfortable. I wore them all night and they felt fine when I woke up. I recommend them to anyone wanting incredibly sounding headphones with amazing comfort. They are beautiful BTW.

Greater than one weekFor the money fit and finish are exemplary The wood improves the sound It is comfortable and the headband is self adjusting There is a slight ear sweat in prolonged listening sessions do not necessarily recommend them for use Jin the rain I replaced the cable and earpads O am an audiophile The one negate thing for me is the earpads are not snap on. And the cable is designed to release under pressure. You might like that Highly recommended.

> 3 dayI’ve had many pairs of headphones over the years, but this pair may be pricey, but is easily the best I’ve ever had. The audio quality is beyond excellent, they’re incredibly comfortable, so much so that you almost forget you’re wearing headphones. And despite not being advertised as noise canceling, they cancel out a surprising amount of noise. (I typically have a fan going and have my PCs fans blasting and I haven’t noticed any sound from either source) so I would wholeheartedly recommend this pair of headphones.

30-10-2024The build quality is very good and the included cables are some of the best quality Ive seen included with a pair of headphones. Sound is overall decent with a focus on the low end. Impact is good, though it might be a bit too much for some people. Overall, a really nice product.

> 3 dayFor the price these are fantastic headphones. Fantastic sound at low to upper level volume, very comfortable and light, and the wood cups are icing on the cake. Full range sound with pretty good bass. If you like your music loud these aren’t for you, but at moderate levels they can’t be beat especially for walking around listening from your phone.

Greater than one weekFirst of all, let me say right out of the box that these headphones impressed me. The Build is great the comfort is the best I have ever had. Now as for the sound if you just want to listen to music and not worried about every little detail then these are for you. I should mention that yes there is a lot of bass but its not overpowering at least not to me. the highs are crisp without fatiguing the mids are smooth. The overall sound is just fun. These headphones are for just relaxing and listening to your favorite tunes.
