> 24 hourGreat gift for an elementary student. Learning from home is a challenge and does it work equally for all kids. My friends nine year old was struggling with her vocabulary. Did a little research and thought this might do the trick. It’s working well for her daughter and she enjoys using it to learn new words.

> 24 hourGot tired of kids asking what does this mean. My moms response was always, look in the dictionary. So, got this dictionary and it is great for them to locate the words pretty easily. Great illustrations, includes the root words and info on where the word originated.

> 24 hourI bought this book for a third grader and it is very colorful and easy to read. Clear and concise definitions. Each alphabet is color coded which is helpful to find words.

> 24 hourThis dictionary is a hardcover. The book is a nice size and gas weight to it. I dont know why that thought it was acceptable to package this item in a bag for delivery with no padding or Cushion. My daughters book arrived damaged, which over rime will become worse. After a brief skim, I like the way dictionary is set up. A great addition to my daughters bookcase.

> 24 hourI ordered this for my twin grandsons who are finishing up their kindergarten year. They have been receiving online instruction for most of the school year but I was amazed at the amount of sight words as well as phonics instruction they have received thus far. So, I decided this summer would be a good time to teach them how to use a dictionary. This was the only one that I felt would be appropriate for them as the others with high ratings are for children 8+. I checked the dictionary since there were some reviews of missing pages, etc. but as far as I can tell, there were no problems with the one I received. For less than $10, this is a great childrens dictionary.

> 24 hourMy daughter asks 100 questions a day. I am so glad that now when she asks me what something means, I just point to the dictionary and tell her to look it up! Initially she wasnt too fond of this! Now that its been a few months, she LOVES her dictionary!!!

> 24 hourThis dictionary is just what I was looking for as a handy reference for my 7-, 9-, and 12-year-olds. Its visually appealing - so much so that we just enjoy flipping through and reading. The definitions are clear, and the kids are able to familiarize themselves with using a dictionary properly. A great purchase!

> 24 hourI purchased this for my son to challenge him to look up unfamiliar words. This has made him a better student and a more solid reader. He now takes his time when reading and will immediately stop to look up words if he is unaware of the definitions. He doesnt attempt homework without it.

> 24 hourI like it very much. I bought it for my 9 years old grandson. When he see a word and he ask what does that word mean. I tell him to get the dictionary and he will look it up. He loves to read so he use it alot. Worth the price. Its big and when his younger siblings are older they can use it.
