Twice we purchased these casting kits and then nearly forgot them until it was too late so we have two beautiful casts that were done while my wife was at full term. The casting kit includes everything except for the pregnant model and is very easy to use if you set aside about 45-60min to read the instructions and complete the entire project. Most recently we were able to do it while our older son was napping in the next room. Whether its for you or as a gift for an expecting mother, these casting kits are great and significantly less expensive than the ones at your local baby boutique.

Although this is a little expensive for what it is, I have used it with all four pregnancies because it is conveniently packaged with everything I need. It may have been cheaper to go to the craft store and buy each thing separately but ease of use, materials and clear instructions for hubby made this a simple and convenient solution. Materials are abundant and, although I am not a fan of the cream included, it served its purpose well. It took a long time to come off my skin but did allow for very simple removal once the cast was dry. Instructions are clear. I would reinforce the idea that this is a messy process so wear clothing that you can get dirty and protect any surfaces in the vicinity! Clean up is easy if you use disposable drop cloths or garbage bags.

Well I am an artist so I thought this would be very easy for me to use and direct my partner so it would be quick and easy. Well it was realy hard and took a long time to do. Being 38 weeks pregnant when I did it left me in excruciating back pain for the next few days. All the hard work was worth it. It turned out great. The kit was great because it has everything you need to make the cast, then fix it up and lastly to get it ready for paint. Even thought it was hard it came out great and was very affordable. I cant think of how they would make it any easier so I still gave it 4 out of 5. It took a very long time to dry. I would make very sure I had a better place to dry it set up before I started if I did this again. It took about 4 days to dry. Pros- Has everything you need to make a beautiful piece of art Very good price on Amazon Cons- This is hard to use This takes a long time to dry

It is very messy, and I would recommend if you are using any clothes to make sure you are okay with throwing it away. The cast didn’t come out of my items.

This is my 1st time using a belly cast. My options were 0 cause when I searched for belly cast this product always popped up, so it was set in stone. Getting to the good part me and my husband was super excited the moment we recieved the package up in till the time we got started. I got it a mth b4 i wanted to actually apply the cast i wanted to b 9 mth or 4 weeks b4 delivery date which is recommanded. I did mines at 36 weeks i wanted to b big as possible without playing it too close. My husband on the other hand was like a kid wanting to play with his new toy, so i finally put him out his misery. I stood while he sat and applied the cast i wanted it to be perfect, but it tells you to seat in a chair i didnt feel like my life was in danger if i stood. He sang the song from the movie ghost the scene when the couple is doing pottery lol it was cute, he was really into it. the process took no time at all i say about 10 min. The cast will let you know when it wants to come off. It is a must you use the lubricant be generous cuz my husband applied where there were no lubricant and it hurt like hell. It does take time for the cast to b completely done, the process takes 2 days and thats without painting it. Overall it was an excellent experince i would do it again if I had more children.

Honestly this was great! Didn’t expect it to dry so fast! You will definitely make a mess so make sure you do it in an open space. You will also definitely need help from someone. Also I recommend you do it standing up. I was 187lbs at 9months and what came in the box was more than enough.

It came out great ….brought it for my wife for vday because I wanted to do something fun for her because we couldn’t really get out the house she LOVES IT I LOVE EVERYONE LOVES IT …….. had to mold my hand and my 7 yr old hand on a ball because she won’t stay still thank mode our hands to the mold after I finished molding my wife hand and stomach but it came out great love thanks

I gave this cast as a gift to my daughter. She had the cast done but when she applied the sealant, it pealed off when dry. She cannot paint it as planned. The instructions are not very clear... We have the cast, though. This is an update. In prompt response to my review, the seller gave the right advice and my daughter was able to paint the cast. I will upload a photo when my daughter sends it to me. The seller offered to give me 50% refund for the inconvenience or another product of my choice to make it right. I picked the former and the refund was sent right away. It is nice to have honest conversations and solve problems together with sellers. Thank you!

Its amazing to have something like this to keep from pregnancy. It was such a fun time and a good memory.
