I loved the process very easy and convenient

Ok. I have mixed feelings about this product. Good price not too expensive and it actually worked. Only thing is that it is suppper messy. It got allll over my bathroom even with the plastic sheet it comes with- the casting powder still got everywhere! I would definitely recommend wearing old clothes while using this and also if you can go outside and do this lol! I’m telling you the powder goes everywhere. Overall it came out great and was a fun experience.

The deluxe is definitely the way to go if you want all the extras like primer and sealer. They make a very nice smooth and paintable surface for really making your art piece shine. We made a bowl and added a little glossy paint, turned out great. Would recommend waiting days (not hours) in between drying stages. The powder paste really needs time to set. At first it appears white and flaky surface that would be easy to sand away, but if you wait a couple days, it gets concrete hard and yellow. Then you know its good and strong. Also be careful around the edges, where it is most weak. We applied extra powder paste to the edges to make it strong.

Well I am an artist so I thought this would be very easy for me to use and direct my partner so it would be quick and easy. Well it was realy hard and took a long time to do. Being 38 weeks pregnant when I did it left me in excruciating back pain for the next few days. All the hard work was worth it. It turned out great. The kit was great because it has everything you need to make the cast, then fix it up and lastly to get it ready for paint. Even thought it was hard it came out great and was very affordable. I cant think of how they would make it any easier so I still gave it 4 out of 5. It took a very long time to dry. I would make very sure I had a better place to dry it set up before I started if I did this again. It took about 4 days to dry. This is my 1st time using a belly cast. My options were 0 cause when I searched for belly cast this product always popped up, so it was set in stone. Getting to the good part me and my husband was super excited the moment we recieved the package up in till the time we got started. I got it a mth b4 i wanted to actually apply the cast i wanted to b 9 mth or 4 weeks b4 delivery date which is recommanded. I did mines at 36 weeks i wanted to b big as possible without playing it too close. My husband on the other hand was like a kid wanting to play with his new toy, so i finally put him out his misery. I stood while he sat and applied the cast i wanted it to be perfect, but it tells you to seat in a chair i didnt feel like my life was in danger if i stood. He sang the song from the movie ghost the scene when the couple is doing pottery lol it was cute, he was really into it. the process took no time at all i say about 10 min. The cast will let you know when it wants to come off. It is a must you use the lubricant be generous cuz my husband applied where there were no lubricant and it hurt like hell. It does take time for the cast to b completely done, the process takes 2 days and thats without painting it. Overall it was an excellent experince i would do it again if I had more children.
