> 24 hourI have several coworkers that are all pregnant at the same time. I purchased 2. The two people that I thought would really like them are the ones that didnt. they gave them back for me to return. There’s one lady that fell in love with it so now I only have one to return! I have one to another lady and she loved it! I guess it’s up to the individual. I bought one for my sister in law a couple years ago and she and her husband loved it. They painted and hung it in the baby’s room. It looked spectacular!!

> 24 hourit smells when your putting it on your body. but the smell goes completely away as the cast dries. i put this on my belly at 8 months pregnant with help of course from the dad. im not professional at all but one piece of advice is to put on the cast standing. i did mine sitting and the cast came out wider then it should have. i was 190 pounds at 8 months and their was more then enough cast to go around for 2 ppl. i double layered it after it was done cause i saw that in the light their was some see thru spots. very messy! but it comes with a large plastic to place on the floor. i rub vaseline all over my tummy and bare breast. i ended up throwing the rest of the left overs away. it was easy to peel off and i would recommend this to everyone.

> 24 hourMy hubby who is not artsy is the one who did this on me. We came up with a plan, outlined what we wanted, started in the middle, worked our way up, then went back to the middle and worked our way down. This kit comes with plenty of everything. I had an entire extra roll left over because Im only 52 so I used that on the inside to reinforce the cast (Which I seriously recommend doing if you want it to last). The only thing Id change is the lube. It didnt help much and the cast hurt to remove. I wish we had lubed up all over good and thick with vaseline first. Next time I know, and now you do too :) IF you are a bigger woman (which face it, many of us are in pregnancy) I would recommend getting the smaller kit to join this one so you have enough casting supplies not only for the initial cast, but to give it a good reinforcement afterward.

> 24 hourOk. I have mixed feelings about this product. Good price not too expensive and it actually worked. Only thing is that it is suppper messy. It got allll over my bathroom even with the plastic sheet it comes with- the casting powder still got everywhere! I would definitely recommend wearing old clothes while using this and also if you can go outside and do this lol! I’m telling you the powder goes everywhere. Overall it came out great and was a fun experience.

> 24 hourI couldnt decide whether I wanted to do a belly cast or not, but decided to do it so I wouldnt regret it. This kit came with plenty of supplies, definitely enough to do two castings if you do it right and dont waste any strips. We used up three rolls and I was 8 months along, but we could have gotten away with using a little less. We did it inside and used the plastic sheet it came with. I still have yet to finish my cast with the smoothing process, but I have a feeling it will take just as long as it did to wrap me and be just as messy. Im not sure what Ill do with the cast once Im finally finished. Its kind of awkward to have just sitting around and I think it would look weird hanging up. Ill find somewhere to put it though!

> 24 hourIt does get messy. I would recommend doing it on a hard floor that is easy to sweep or mop. The plastic covering provided covers just enough area to capture most of the mess. We did it in the kitchen and moved our table out of the way. We had enough strips to cover the entire belly, breasts up to her under arms. If you want to cast beyond that then you may want to consider getting an additional box. We put a pillow for her to sit on and one to support the lower back under the plastic cloth sitting over the chair and she felt okay after the 30 minutes of casting. It was fun and we got a few good laughs along the way as well. Also consider using a foil disposable tray for the plaster strips to make the clean up process easier. I used a ceramic tray and a bunch of the plaster harden inside of it which made the clean up process a little annoying. Overall it was fun and my wife appreciated it.

> 24 hourIt is coming out awesome. I havent done the painting or anything yet but this kit worked out great. Couple things worth mentioning. Im glad I returned the basic (an over priced purchase elsewhere) and went for this deluxe which cost me less. Go figure. I wanted deluxe because it had more rolls of the gauze stuff and the plaster etc. Now, I was already 9 months and huge when I did this so this was a factor Im sure but there was no way I would have been able to add arms in as I had planned so Im glad I changed my mind on that. I dont think I could have made it as sturdy as I wanted trying to do more than chest and belly. It took me a couple applications to realize that I needed to do much smaller amounts of plaster mixing and making it thin worked best. I have to get another sanding cloth. What they gave was not enough to sand everything properly. Im sure this is a cheap buy. I may even try to buy more plaster stuff so i can do a better job and ensure sturdiness. All and all though it was fun (a little messy) to do and Im so glad I did this. I wanted to do this with my first and never did. Since my second may be my last I will definitely treasure this. My plan is to paint and frame it and include two smaller frames on the sizes with both sons info that way its for both of them.

> 24 hourHonestly this was great! Didn’t expect it to dry so fast! You will definitely make a mess so make sure you do it in an open space. You will also definitely need help from someone. Also I recommend you do it standing up. I was 187lbs at 9months and what came in the box was more than enough.
