> 3 dayI desperately needed to upgrade my old monitor, so I went for this one after reading about it in an article. Its the size of small TV which took some getting used to, but I have grown to really like it - just make sure to adjust your display settings if youre coming from a smaller monitor to this one. The picture is clear - you can really see the detail in what youre doing. I havent tried to speaker option on it and dont plan to, so I cant comment on the quality there. Turning it on and off is a bit of a hassle as it has a little joystick underneath it versus a physical button. My biggest problem is that I can see more of the backlight on the right side of the screen when your picture is dark. The other thing to note is that it slowed down my last PC when I got it too. I was in the process of upgrading to a much fancier and better gaming PC so that was a temporary issue, but if youre using a basic, cheaper PC, you may run into problems.

> 3 dayThis monitor is a great step up from the similar version of it that is 144Hz at 1080p. That one has a great balance of performance and picture. This one, however, doesnt have a great color balance but is able to properly output a sharp 1440p picture. It took some configuring, but I found a sweet spot for the picture to not look too cool and for blacks not to look as crushed. But now, 6 months after purchasing, I am noticing the screen flickering. If I load up a game, theres a chance that the screen will flicker. Theres even some flickers when Im not playing anything! I dont think the display itself has a problem, but its not handling G-Sync properly. I sent in a service request to have this looked at, which means Ill be without this monitor for a good month or so. Others seem to also have the same problem, so just be aware of this. Nice monitor, but some serious drawbacks that wouldve made me reconsider buying this.

> 3 dayI have this monitor that Ive bought new, love it works great never had any issues. Bought another one (refurbished) and didnt have problems for a month until last night. MUCH troubleshooting before realizing they did not send the adapter that normally goes with this monitor. Sent one that does not provide enough amperage.

Greater than one weekThis is a great monitory with really good color and display. But can someone please help me explain why my monitor would be stuck at 100 Hz and not 144 when I went to the NVDIA coolntrol panel. For some reasons it only gives me the options of 60 hz and 100hz. Not 144. Could someone please give me a solution? that would mean a lot.

> 3 dayIts a good monitor ignoring its HDR spec but my main issue is that its just SO DANG BRIGHT even at the lowest setting to the point where I always leave it on the lowest brightness and it still singes my eyes. I wish LG would release firmware for it that let it get dimmer without sacrificing color accuracy but I know they wont do it for a low tier product like this. If you really hate bright screens and usually leave your phone on low or very low brightness then look into some other stuff because late night gaming with this will sing your eyes and make sure to keep you awake.

> 3 dayMonitor died after 5 months of use. It powers on but the screen remains blank, it wont even show its own menus. Any computer it plugs into will freeze up and enter a boot loop until unplugged from the monitor. The monitor is well within the manufacturer warranty but the process is so deliberately obtuse that it may as well not exist. This is my last LG product for sure. Update: It took a few weeks of having to repeatedly ask if a shipping label had been sent before a CSR was able to confirm that one would be arriving. It did eventually show up and I was able to box up the monitor and drop it off with fedex at no charge to myself. Other than the tracking number I was given for the shipment to the repair facility I was not given any additional information at any point about the repair status. A few weeks later a new fedex tracking number was sent to me for the return trip; it arrived about a week later. It does appear to be working as expected again. We will see how long it lasts. My experience with the repair process seems about average, other reviewers have described both much faster/smoother experiences and much longer/difficult ones. In any case I am happy to have a working monitor or again and despite the inconvenience I am relatively pleased with the whole interaction.

Greater than one weekIf you are on the fence, buy this monitor, it is amazing. Pros: IPS Panel -IPS panel gives greater viewing angles and better color accuracy than TN or VA. The main downside to IPS is that the GTG response time tends to be a bit slower and the blacks are not as black. However these are both easily trade offs for me. 1440P Resolution -Honestly 1440P is the perfect resolution for gaming. It is miles better looking than 1080P and doesnt require the huge computer power to drive 4K. I am running a RTX 2080Ti FE and I get probably 60FPS+ on max settings for most AAA titles, but I still prefer my 1440P monitor for the next reason... 144Hz Refresh Rate -Few 4K monitors will boast 144Hz refresh rate and the ones that do cost a fortune. On top of that, you will need a beastly multi-gpu setup to get 144+FPS out of your AAA titles at max settings anyways. -144Hz is so smooth and is a much better experience than 60Hz. I also have a better feel in FPS type games. 27 (which is also as big as I would recommend for desktop gaming) -Any bigger than 27 and you are entering TV type of territory IMO. For gaming, I want to be able to see my whole screen with minimal movement of my head. When sitting at my desk, with a distance of roughly 2feet between my face to the monitor, it is the perfect size. Cons: The only con I have with this monitor, and this is pretty nit picky, is the lack of auto input detection. I use my desk for both work and play so I have this monitor plugged into my gaming desktop all the time, but sometimes I have a separate cable plugging it into my work laptop. When I switch from using my desktop to laptop and vice versa, I need to manually change the input. There is no separate button to do this and the monitor does not auto detect and ask if you want to change input sources, so you need to go through the menu to change the input source. Very minor complaint. Neutral: This monitor is G-Sync Compatible but not true G-Sync hardware. The G-Sync hardware is extremely expensive and this monitor is an excellent price. Honestly, should be a Pro that this monitor is even G-Sync compatible for the price.

> 3 dayNo problems / No flickering. I purchased two of these monitors. Both work great. To those complaining about the advertised refresh rate, make sure your Pc/Xbox/PlayStation/ display supports it. Works good on my pc.

> 3 dayMuy buen monitor en general para este rango de precio. Materiales robustos, panel de calidad, propiedades excelentes. Lo recomiendo. Algo interesante es que viene por defecto con el brillo al 50%, pero se puede ajustar fácilmente en el menú al nivel deseado.
