> 3 dayThe monitor itself is amazing and looks great. The big and only dealbreaker is that whenever the monitor comes out of sleep mode, it disconnects and reconnects to the computer. So if youve got a multi-monitor setup, all of your windows will move to the other screen and your desktop will shift around. I tried to contact LG support about this and they said I could send it in for them to checkup on. But when I sent them a follow-up email with more questions, they stopped responding. It looks like this is an ongoing issue with several LG monitors and it has been for a long time. Again, if youve got a single monitor setup, this monitor is probably perfect for you. It looks great. -1 star for deep sleep defect -1 star for support ghosting me

> 3 day144 Hertz NOT available for 1920 x 1080 in full screen mode. first if you want greater than 60 Hz which you should know is necessary for monitors because 60 Hz is harmful to the user because your mind can see the flicker if less than 75 Hz; you seem to have forgot how harmful it is to use 60 Hz? Requires Display port for greater than 60 Hz. may display 1920 x 1080 at 75 Hz. I resized display using Nvidia Control Panel and was able to get 144 Hz using nonstandard configuration and is not support in Native mode.

> 3 daySo far so good with the monitor after about 3 months. It comes set to 60 hz and you have to go pretty far into the settings to change it, but its not hard. I got this during black friday for $300 and it has been beyond great for that price. I use Nvidia but couldnt justify g-sync for a 60% price increase. Save that money and put it into your GPU or CPU upgrade. This isnt a curved monitor- its just a large 2080p monitor. I took my PC on a 1500 mile trip in the back of my car and it survived with no injuries both ways. This included going from 80 degree Florida weather to -40 degree winter storm in Wisconsin in the same day. I let it warm up and left it off for a few hours to allow any condensation to dry up. No issues.

> 3 dayThis is for the 650 freesync model no hdr. I recently returned the Samsung CH70 to Best Buy as there were several issues. I stumbled across this monitor and read some positive reviews regarding performance so decided to give it a try. I am blown away by the quality of this monitor. I primarily game on the Xbox X and although that system can’t push more than 60hz the response/imput lag of this monitor is very impressive. The Samsung Ch70 according to many is the best monitor possible for the Xbox and after using both the 650 performs slightly better. So if HDR is not important and you want a monitor with above average picture quality with excellent response/imput lag then this is for you.

> 3 dayInitial impressions were quite good. I was really impressed with the build quality on first taking it out of the box. Once I plugged it in though, it fell really short of my expectations. Im not sure if it has to do with the panel type since Ive only ever used ips and this va, but the image was very soft despite this having a greater pixel density than my last monitor. The screen was also quite dark, and adjusting it on my pc and the monitor just made the image look terrible even with other adjustments. I could only keep this one up for awhile before it started to make me nauseous. Keep in mind that unless you plan to wall mount or have a monitor arm, the stand forces the monitor pretty far away from the wall. I have a pretty large desk and it still felt like it was in my face because of how large it is and how close it has to be.

> 3 dayI bought this about 4 months ago and overall I say it’s an amazing monitor for the price it is. You’re not gonna find lots of monitors this quality for this price so for that it is pretty good. The one bad thing and in my opinion the only bad thing about this monitor is that after about a month or two you may get dead or stuck pixels. In my case the dead pixels are severe and go straight down the middle of the screen and I have no fix to this. Besides the stick or dead pixels problem this is a great product but keep in mind if you purchase you may have to deal with stuck or dead pixels.

04-11-2024I like everything about the monitor when it works , but it often fails to wake from sleep or falls asleep while my computer is booting and is then difficult to wake it again. Do an internet search for this issue with these LGs. It is annoying as hell to use workarounds such as... Fiddling with the settings when I boot my computer so it doesnt fall asleep. Unplugging and plugging it back in to get it to wake. Turning the monitor power off when I will be afk for awhile so I can turn it back on again so it wont auto sleep. Yes I have sleep mode off on the monitor and on windows. This LG apparently ignores how I set the power saving modes. I have learned to use these workarounds and so I didnt bother to return it but only because of the pain of shipping back such a large item during the pandemic in the small towwn that I reside. How i bought it locally I would have taken it back within a week. The screen itself is nice once you tune it and I had zero dead pixels. I enjoy the colors, low glare and response time for gaming and I would recommend it if they could fix the sad hibernating bear issue.

> 3 dayI have monitor shopping for awhile now. My last PC and setup upgrade is over 5 years old now and it was time to start over. Before this behemoth, I had a 24 1080p display that has served me well, and while I do love its fast response times and high refresh rate, I wanted something larger. Thus, I was looking for at 27 displays; only problem was I couldnt find one within my budget. Thats when I heard about this monitor. It had good reviews all around and decided to give it a whirl. Below is my listed Pros/Cons for this monitor. --Pros-- 1. Size This monitor is massive. I thought I knew what 32 displays looked like, but it is a whole different story when it is on your desk. If you are someone who wants a monitor that takes up your whole field of view but doesnt want a 21:9 aspect ratio monitor, this is it. The size of the display is awesome for games. I kicked up Doom 2016 for test run on this guy and I ended up playing for much longer than I originally anticipated. 2. Response Time/Refresh Rate With a low response time and a high refresh rate along with adaptive sync, this monitor is smooth. I play a variety of games and even compared to my former BenQ TN monitor it is fast. Its pleasant to move around the desktop and kill demons in Doom. What more can you ask for? 3. Price The most attractive thing to me is the price of this monitor. Many 1440p/144Hz monitors can be rather expensive. If you want a name brand monitor with those specs, there are only a few under $450 US. On the other hand, this monitor goes on sale from $375 to $300 often (If you can get one in stock). This is a steal for these kind of specs. --Cons-- 1. Size Wait... I thought this was a pro? you might say. While I think it is, this is also can be huge con for some. The monitor for any desk with a depth of less than 2 is too small. You need to either wall mount this beast or have a deep desk. I recommend this due to the weak pixel density of the monitor of around 93ppi. This is about the same PPI of a 24/1080p display, but it may bother some. 2. VA Panel Some monitor purest dislike VA panels for their bad viewing angles and lack of color reproduction compared to IPS. I personally only notice a slight color shift at the very tips of the corners, this might be a deal-breaker for some. Overall, I would recommend this monitor if you are looking for a big monitor for immersive gaming, multimedia consumption and have the space to easily view this honk of a display.

> 3 dayI didnt know i need this size until i got it. It is freaking massive compared to my old 22 monitor. Loved it right off the bat. The colors are nice after some adjustments. Great value for the price. The speaker is basically non existent and that is the only reason I am giving this monitor a 4 star review.
