> 3 dayI bought this in March 2019 (at $400) and its still my daily. This thing has given me so much value for what people consider a budget gaming monitor now adays. 1440p @ 144Hz is perfect for me.

> 3 dayI previously was using a Samsung 4k 28in TN panel from 2014 that I paid 320$ for 2 years ago. The color is not as good as most VA panels but compared to this VA panel the color on my old TN panel is nearly as good. My biggest complaint about this LG monitor is that its not very bright AT ALL. Compared to my TN panel its really only half as bright. Even at 100% brightness the monitor is only 50% of my TN panel. Its much too dark for some games or even normal desktop use. I sit 2 feet from the monitor and its just not that bright at all. The good thing is the 144 hertz panel. I dont notice any ghosting at all and no dead pixels thank God. The color is just a little better than my 10 bit TN panel (FRC). This panel can also use 10 bit but its just not as good as other VA panels on the market. I should of probably went and purchased the Samsung 32 HDR panel thats VA 144 hertz. Its 600 C/dm brightness is plenty for great color production. This LG monitor is advertised at 350 but the real brightness of it is really 300. My Samsung 4k TN panel is 370 peak brightness and its literally double. Dont pay over 300$ for this monitor and get it on sale if you have to have 144 hertz. For me being my first Gaming monitor Im not that impressed. Playing Age of Empires 2 Definitive edition is smooth as butter Ill have to admit. But the picture quality just isnt there. I watched a Hardware Unboxed review as I follow Tim and Steve and watch every video they put out and this was one of Tims best monitors but Im not impressed. My 27 BenQ from 5 years ago produces a better image than this LG panel does that is VA. If you do want a 144 hertz 2k monitor go for a 27 panel. 32 is just too much for 2k and you can see pixelation from the text. 4k is awesome of course at 60 hertz freesync. If you can find the Samsung UED 4k TN panel thats 1ms 60 hertz for under 300$ its a hell of deal. That is truly a damn good panel for just about anything if you have a 1080 Ti or better. If you game like me, dont go IPS as its terrible for gaming. TN and VA panels are the best for gaming. If you absolutely just want the fastest panel go TN. If you want a decent picture and fast panel go with a VA that cost around 450$. I wish I would of spent the extra 150$ on that Samsung panel now. I do play on having my 4k TN panel and this one side by side on my desk soon so I get the best of both worlds I suppose. Edit 3/31/20 I noticed the monitor shows a very black dark spot in the center about 6 inches tall and 1 inch from the top to 3 inches right in the center bottom. It shows up in many games and is very very annoying to see in brightly lit areas. I should probably return this monitor but I guess my chance at getting dead pixels on the next would be just as bad so Ill probably keep it. And on another note the Black stabilizer kills the contrast of the colors too much so I turned it off completely.

> 3 dayI really like the screen at it is working well for me. But it has been less than a month and I already need to replace the power cable. They are not expensive but it was annoying to need since this is a pretty reputable company.

> 3 dayUpgrading from a nice Samsung 27. This is probably as big as practical if youre sitting at a desk with the monitor in front of you. The Freesync seems to really help smooth out gameplay even on my slightly older than a year gaming pc. Its very easy to set up. Doesnt have as much angular motion as my older monitor so if I want to show my wife sitting next to me a video or something it doesnt quite pivot as much. Also you can turn it shortside up but not easily--with the stand all the way up it still wont pivot up...you would have to lay it down, pivot it, then stand it back up. But still an awesome monitor.

> 3 dayInitial impressions were quite good. I was really impressed with the build quality on first taking it out of the box. Once I plugged it in though, it fell really short of my expectations. Im not sure if it has to do with the panel type since Ive only ever used ips and this va, but the image was very soft despite this having a greater pixel density than my last monitor. The screen was also quite dark, and adjusting it on my pc and the monitor just made the image look terrible even with other adjustments. I could only keep this one up for awhile before it started to make me nauseous. Keep in mind that unless you plan to wall mount or have a monitor arm, the stand forces the monitor pretty far away from the wall. I have a pretty large desk and it still felt like it was in my face because of how large it is and how close it has to be.

> 3 dayItem arrived on time and was as advertised. Surprisingly nothing was damaged in shipment. Picture quality is better than what I had, but not as good as I was hoping for. This is a mid range monitor - not bad, but not great.

> 3 dayNothing bad to say regarding this new monitor. So far, running Wolfenstein New Colossus at high, maintaining a clean, tear free 60-70 FPS using a AMD RX580 with FreeSync on. Wow, so much better than 1080P! *** PLEASE NOTE: The customer photos that show a rear light ring are NOT for this model. 32GK650F-B DOES NOT HAVE A LED REAR LIGHT RING! If thats a feature simply must have, it was available on the ...650G-B version of this monitor...but good luck finding it. This info is directly from LG. Working in Light Room and PhotoShop is a real treat now, too. So much work area with such clarity is a treat.
