> 3 dayI gave this to my daughter just over 5 months ago to use as her gaming computer (Minecraft, Fortnite, Among Us, Roblox). It worked BEAUTIFULLY for 5 months until one day out of nowhere, we, too, got the black screen of death that so many others have. It was still running, but the screen was black and my cursor had a spinning circle next to it. I am pretty good with computers so I tried all the usual fixes, and nothing worked. I’d always end up right back at the black screen.

Greater than one weekThis laptop just shut down yesterday during normal functioning within an year of purchasing. On starting up, the light would turn on and one could hear the fan, but the screen would just be black. I tried turning the laptop on several times and running it on the safe mode but it didnt work. I tried contacting Lenovo maintenance but they have no record of the laptop since there is no serial number on the backside and therefore they cant help. Having gotten it diagnosed from a service center nearby, they diagnosed the issue as a motherboard issue. They said there are no apparent signs of wear and tear and the laptop has been maintained well. It seems like the laptop may not have been a Lenovo original, considering that it didnt even have a serial number. They are saying external repair would cost upwards of 250$. I am an international student with limited means with a broken laptop within a few days from semester exams. Wont recommend purchasing this laptop from the seller!

> 3 dayThis is a nice small portable laptop. The AMD Ryzen 5 3500U Processor is very fast for its size, and the 250GB (Appx 235 usable), Solid State Drive, you get a speedy little easy to take around laptop. 8GB memory makes it boot up to the opening screen in less than 7 seconds. I did a Novabench speed test, it came out to 14438, which shamed my larger 24 inch HP All-In-One by beating it by 100 points! The Vega 8 graphics are fine. This is for working and watching videos, and not a gaming laptop. However, I have played a couple of games on my bigger HP and the graphics were fine at mid level, playing DOOM 3. The screen isnt as bright as Id like, but my eyes are older now. However, at full brightness level it is easy to see the screen in normal room light. In the direct sun, it mostly does not do well. Rarely does any laptop. It is super light. The look is nice, with the laptop pad right in the middle of the compact space. The camera is not so good. There has to be sacrifice somewhere. So its the camera. Also the compact size means your numbers are only on the top, not a side numbers keyboard. Battery power is excellent. I have had it on for almost 2 hours and it barely went down to mid way. The design is sparse, simple, with a smooth top and Lenovo logo discretely on the side. Nice! Smallish hard drive can easily be remedied with a good 1TB external SSD drive and prices are rock bottom now for some good ones. Decent graphics, fast, easy keyboard on the fingers, overall, a very good deal!
