> 24 hourBeen using this brand of fan for years. All others were useless wastes of money. My only complaint is that the local drugstore sold these for about $20 a piece. Now its twice that. Hence only four stars. But theyre still worth it. You want wind? This is it. Most fans make noise but dont do much. I hate being hot. I know what works.

> 24 hourWeve owned 3 of these so far, good value for the money. Low speed is below ambient, 2 speed is good background noise and air movement, 3 speed is too loud to sleep to but really moves some air quickly! Lifespan: - in a dirty pet house environment with nightly usage at 2 speed one lasted about a year. Even with full cleaning every few weeks eventually cat hair clogged the stator and it died a fiery arcing death. Thank God we were there to smell the burning smell and turn it off. Do not run unattended in dirty conditions. - In a cleaner non-pet house one has been in operation for over a year and needs fan blade cleaning (dust accumulation) about once per month.

> 24 hourI like the look, the quality and the air flow.. What I dont like is that the controls are in the middle on the back. Its minor, but its an inconvenience. It would be better if the controls were on the top where they are easily accessible

> 24 hourI bought this fan on the way to my dads house, Spring 2012, because I live in WA state and he lives in GA and he needed me to stay with him a while. I bought it from a local retailer, but its the exact same fan. From day one Ive referred to it as my man-made cyclone - funny as the company now calls the new model the Cyclone. This fan is the only reason Ive been able to exist here in the deep south. I wound up having to stay with my dad - both :) and :( - and this fan has run nearly every day since purchase and is still going strong. I do take it apart every spring and clean it good. It isnt hard and all I do is use the brush attachment of the vacuum cleaner on the motor section. I even wash the fan without the motor with soap and water in the bath tub and semi do the same to the back without getting the motor wet. I think the annual cleaning has kept the bearings from wearing out. This fan is the best air mover Ive ever owned - so, I have to wonder what people are comparing this fan too when they say it barely moves air - an industrial warehouse fan? From 10 feet, on low, it blows enough air to blow a dress hanging from the frame of my closet door to the floor. On high it blows my long hair sideways while sitting at my desk which is about 10 feet away. On low I have to have paperweights on my desk or documents become wallpaper. I hope that paints a clear picture of how much air this sucker (er blower) moves. I also think it blows much cooler than oscillating fans because oscillators heat up and usually are on higher posts that move warmer air. This moves the air from the floor (cooler) upward or outward across the room. My dads friends and our family chuckle at me because everywhere I go around this house and even on the patio I have two things... my beloved four-legged bestie and my man-made cyclone. Im thinking of stocking up because I have never owned a fan that works this well.

> 24 hourWe do not have air conditioning in our house so we use window units in the bedrooms on really hot days. We use a fan to push the cooler air into the main part of the house. Last fan was terrible - you could stand about a foot away and not feel the breeze. This one is awesome. It pushes the air well into the lower rooms. We are very happy with the purchase!

> 24 hourI am sending this back. Its homely, too big in its footprint, and really junky in its plastic construction. Truly unattractive. Im buying a tower fan instead and in addition maybe an air purifier. And - BUYER BEWARE - the company that sends this fan out notes that you cannot use the fan, not even to try out the wind (!!), if you are going to send it back. They stipulate for returns that the fan must not be used, must be packaged in the original packaging, and so on. But jeeezzuss! you cant even turn the fan on and direct it at your bed to test the wind strength? Gimme a break.

> 24 hourThis fan is great for power and air flow! Until it isn’t due to drag from collecting dirt. I’ve never owned a fan, of any kind or size, that didn’t come apart for cleaning. This one does not. Efficiency reduces when blades collect dirt and I imagine the motor does as well though I can’t get in to actually see it. The only way I’ve found to clean it is with compressed air. Does a halfway job and I’m sure the dirts and dust reduces the lifespan of the fan.

> 24 hourForce of air is great but the turn dial; on, off, different settings, repeatedly comes off! Very frustrating.

> 24 hourMy model has no remote control. Switch is centered on back of fan very easy to get to. Has 3 speeds. I use high and have two fans set up to move/pull the air from living room air conditioner in living room to bedroom. Works great, very strong air movement. I would buy again and refer this product to friends. Very sturdy, has hand strap on top making it easy to move and can be rotated up or down. Very happy with this product!

> 24 hourLots of air you can feel. Dislike price, i think $35 would be a good price for this fan, $50 is too much.
