> 3 dayI have runners knee where my kneecap doesnt track straight and I get pain from high mileage and downhill running. I have used all kinds of braces or supports in the past. I was hesitant to use tape because I thought I may apply it incorrectly and actually do more harm than good. Then I found the YouTube videos for KT tape and decided to give it a shot. The tape has allowed me to keep training for a marathon I have. I was at a point where I was in pain after one mile, but as soon as I started using the tape the discomfort became less and less. After three weeks Im back doing 15-18 mile long runs and about 40 total a week. I have applied the tape four times in a month. Each time I did it right after getting out of the shower so there was no body oils on my leg. I have normal leg hair for a guy and the tape is OK on the leg hair when in place, but removing it even after a week is not pleasant. This last time I shaved the area that would be taped. I havent removed it yet, but Im sure itll be a better experience. I have also noticed that its holding up much better on the edges. After 4-5 showers the edges get a little ratty. I have taped my wife for her plantar fasciitis. The ankle rubs a lot more in the shoe so the tape lasts less than a week. Even so, she has been happy with the support and guidance provided by the tape. In the end it costs about $2.25-2.50 each time I tape my knee. Im hoping to stop using it after my marathon and work on strengthening my legs more but until then this tape makes running much more bearable. Watch the YouTube videos, clean your skin with soap and dry, dont touch the adhesive and consider shaving the area for best adhesion and comfort. I forget its even there.

> 3 dayBought: Black precuts To preface, I work with a D1 basketball team and I’m a dancer so that means I shower after practices, treatments, and personal workouts. Cons: The other reviews are kind of untruthful because the tape comes off BUT it will stick right back majority of the time. I sweat perfusely and it was on my foot so it started to come off a bit but once I got dry after my shower and I rubbed it back on, it was stuck again. 2. The application isn’t always easy (if you’re doing it alone) but it will come with time. 3. My main peeve with it is that I got the precut ones. The strips become longer than what I wanted once stretched but I can’t really complain about getting more reach with the tape. Pro 1. Literally everything. I felt like I was walking on a pillow with my ankle and that is my recurrent injury spot 2. It didn’t stop my range of motion on my knee plus it feels like a brace without the limitations of a brace. The tape reminds you that you have an injury because you will feel it stretch as you do certain movements but it won’t hurt nor stop you. 3. After 3 or 4 days, it was still stuck on me. Even the parts that peeled back, were still sticky.

> 3 dayThis is a great brand it is very durable and worth the money. I never have a problem applying the tape and I never have a problem removing the tape. You can tell the difference in this brand and other brands. I consistently buy KT tape. Very happy customer.

> 3 dayI have a connective tissue disorder (EDS) that causes my joints to be hyper mobile. My knees, regardless of how much PT I do to strengthen, still dislocate, as do my elbows and many smaller joints like fingers. During the hotter months, my joints get worse, and the colder months make my joints stiffer and therefore less painful. I had a friend recommend these to me after they had a sports injury. Best. Idea. Ever. I slap these babies on and around my knees and look out world, I’m held together with tape, but I’m coming through!! I do have to be careful removing the tape, just because I bruise easily and can tear my skin very easily, but the adhesion is spectacular! These bad boys aren’t moving anywhere! I also love that they are discreet, so I can still wear clothes without a bulky and uncomfortable knee brace. They help alleviate some pain, but they’re not perfect. It would be lovely if they made some with some pain relieving gel inside. I’m still hyper mobile with them on, but I can still go on jogs in the summer like I would in the winter. If you have a connective tissue disorder or have bad joints that need some support, definitely give these a go!

Greater than one weekWhen I got shin splints a few years ago I tried every product that money could buy. After spending well over $100 and getting no relief, I figured Id give KT tape a shot as a last resort, because what could some adhesive fabric tape possibly do to relieve my pain. My God was I impressed, and back up and running a few days later. This stuff really is magic. Ive recommended and given samples out to people over the years who have had variety of different pains and almost all of them have also come to swear by it. Supposedly the magic is that it help with circulation, but however it works, it DOES WORK. They have a great collection of youtube videos for how to do different applications depending on where your pain is. WHY NOT 5 STARS? -- because Ive found that there are other brands that work just as well for a fraction of the price. I thought that the cotton fabric of the other brands (compared to the synthetic fabric of the Pro KT tape) wouldnt adhere or hold up as well, since the cotton regular KT Tape certainly does not, but I was wrong. I think it all comes down to the adhesive. Still a wonderful product, and Ill still buy it, but when I need a bunch Ill go off brand.

> 3 dayI have a shoulder pain that becomes unbearable at times at work with some repetitive motion I do lifting a heat sealing machine. I tried everything from creams to pills to vitamins and herbs and heat and cool patches. Nothing worked ! Based on all the reviews I bought this and I am happy with it. The reason I dont give it 5 stars is because it helps reduce the pain ( and it does so greatly) but it does not eliminate it all together. And to be quite fair about it I dont recall the company making any promises to eliminate 100% of pain. The strips also to my surprise helps give my arm support making it not so hard to do the lifting. I made the mistake of thinking the tighter I put it on the better and that was a bad idea. I got blisters and bad red marks that burned for a couple of weeks. So I would caution you to make them tight but not too tight. I was in Walmart the other day and I was surprised to see they were selling these. I was relieved to see I got them cheaper on Amazon ! That always makes me feel good. And keep in mind that was at MY local Walmart and I have no way of knowing what they sell for at other locations. I really hope that helps and hope anybody with muscle pain can get the relief I did with these or even more! [email protected]
