> 3 dayI have runners knee where my kneecap doesnt track straight and I get pain from high mileage and downhill running. I have used all kinds of braces or supports in the past. I was hesitant to use tape because I thought I may apply it incorrectly and actually do more harm than good. Then I found the YouTube videos for KT tape and decided to give it a shot. The tape has allowed me to keep training for a marathon I have. I was at a point where I was in pain after one mile, but as soon as I started using the tape the discomfort became less and less. After three weeks Im back doing 15-18 mile long runs and about 40 total a week. I have applied the tape four times in a month. Each time I did it right after getting out of the shower so there was no body oils on my leg. I have normal leg hair for a guy and the tape is OK on the leg hair when in place, but removing it even after a week is not pleasant. This last time I shaved the area that would be taped. I havent removed it yet, but Im sure itll be a better experience. I have also noticed that its holding up much better on the edges. After 4-5 showers the edges get a little ratty. I have taped my wife for her plantar fasciitis. The ankle rubs a lot more in the shoe so the tape lasts less than a week. Even so, she has been happy with the support and guidance provided by the tape. In the end it costs about $2.25-2.50 each time I tape my knee. Im hoping to stop using it after my marathon and work on strengthening my legs more but until then this tape makes running much more bearable. Watch the YouTube videos, clean your skin with soap and dry, dont touch the adhesive and consider shaving the area for best adhesion and comfort. I forget its even there.

Greater than one weekThis stuff really helped my tennis elbow. I wore it for months while working road construction and was eventually able to not use it at all. It’s not the stickiest K tape I’ve used but it’s effective.

> 3 dayPre-cut strips eliminate trimming. Thicker fabric provides better support and lasts 3-4 days (just dry it well after showers). The included instructions are easy to understand, even for a newbie but consult a pro for your specific injury to make sure you are taping correctly (i.e., you put no stretch on the last 2-3” on each end, and mild to moderate stretch across the ares that need support. Again, the included instructions are great, but there are a number of YouTube videos on the topic as well. I have some Meniscus and MCL pain (64 yrs old) when I go cycling or walking, especially longer distances. Without the KT, the ache gets to 6-7 on the pain scale. With the KT, it’s closer to 2-3. I can’t comfortably wear a full knee brace while cycling, but the KT gives me great breathable support (I cycled 64 miles on my 64th birthday with only mild soreness the next day). Try this! It has been a fantastic find for me.

Greater than one weekOrdered with skepticism. Would it work? Is it hard to use? Would it stay in place? Will it look stupid? I often have a recurring pulled Achilles tendon injury from 30 years ago as a teen playing sports and if youre familiar, keeping my ankle at a right angle with the tendon extended and stable is key. But this time, I had some bones in my foot out of place after mowing outside in the wrong shoes. The bones popped back into place later that day once I soaked it, socked it and put on proper shoes, but my foot was still super sore - then on top of that, I forgot and I plopped down on the sofa with my feet under me to watch a good movie. Ugh! A ganglion cyst formed - like immediately. My poor foot... I was kind of tired of the old-school ace bandages - I have a drawer full. Since Amazon delivers CRAZY FAST, I decided to get the tape. LOVE IT! It works. Is it easy to use (KT has a YouTube video). It stays in place (a little too well, I soak it off in the shower). It looked SUPER COOL! Im a Steelers fan, so I got black and yellow - I looked like a cool high-paid Olympian hurt on the gridiron! (hee hee) Watch the KT YouTube video, start with clean, dry skin and press good and gentle for a good seal. If you want to use moisturizer, apply a small amount and let set for 15-20 minutes first. Wear with socks for a bit to help the seal and maybe while sleeping. If the tape lifts, its a wrap, it will just keep lifting and like tape, fibers on it render it useless. But theres plenty in each pack. I will say that the tape irritated my shin skin terribly (itchy, red, swollen skin) maybe moisturizer after cleaning and drying skin could have helped. I cant do bandage adhesive on my upper chest, face or bend points inside elbows or behind my knees and now - front of shins. :)

> 3 dayI have lived the last few years of my life with severe back issues. A few issues aided to this, but mostly a car wreck that damaged my spine was the final blow. I had several herniated discs, bulging discs and issues that made day to day living a pain. I did my best to find ways around doing things, but still missed simply working out or even sitting up to watch television. KT tape was recommended to me via physical therapy. I thought the entire ideology was a joke. You mean tape, apply to my body, can make me feel better? It sounds absolutely ridiculous. After a few days, I fell in love, and now, almost a year later, I live daily with strips of tape on my back. KT Tape Pro is my SECOND different tape tried. I had heard a few different things about this tape, and was mainly looking for something that applied more support to my spine. KT Tape Pro does this, as well as applies a fantastic adhesive that lasts for 3-5 days (mine averages about four, depending on my workouts, clothing and showers). KT Tape relieves pain to my spin, allows free movement and adds phenomenal support to my spine. I stand up straight, and have next to no pain. Without tape, it is completely night and day difference. This tape was also used on my fiances sprain foot. She has had several issues with her foot, and reinjured it. After a few days of pain, I decided to apply it to her, and see if perhaps this tape just worked on me. Perhaps Ive become too mentally safe with tape, and was just receiving a false sense of feeling better. Within a few days of having this tape applied, my fiance had zero issues with her foot. Swelling had decreased to none and she could freely move without issues. If you have any sort of body pain, or issues, buy this tape.

> 3 dayIve always had hot spots on the pad of my feet just before my arches due to my sweaty feet with the smallest amount of friction. Ive tried every cream, gel and powder available and just about every running sock on the market to minimize friction. I usually have problems going beyond 6 miles due to the burning pain and was fearing whether I could go the distance in my upcoming half marathon. I attended the Chevron Houston Marathon Expo and saw the KT Tape booth where there was a long line of people waiting to be taped by KT personnel. Being the Guinea pig that I am and having tried everything else on the market,I said what the heck and hopped in line too. After describing my issues, she taped each foot with one full strip longways from just under my toes to the back of my heel. She then cut a strip in half and put both short ways across the pad of my foot so that the entire pad was covered by strips. Well, I walked about 500 feet before feeling the tape starting to peel on the ends. Another expo participant shared that the oils and lotions on my feet were the likely cause of the peeling and that alcohol helps. So, I went back to the KT booth and sure enough she sprayed an alcohol solution and applied fresh tape. This time it lasted through the rest of the day and through my half marathon the following day. No pain, no burning, no friction and no peeling of the tape!!! I did another half marathon last Sunday. I wiped my feet with alcohol first and applied the tape exactly as it had been applied by KT....again, worked perfectly!!!! This stuff is amazing. I went on a 2 mile run this morning, applied alcohol first as usual. This time however, I only applied half of a strip across the pad of each foot. Worked like a charm. Gonna try using this same method for longer runs. In short, the tape is very effective even in the moistest areas but the key is to apply alcohol before applying the tape to remove excess oil.

> 3 dayI sweat a lot and the tape did not lose any grip. My joints and muscles felt secure and I was able to easily apply the tape with little trouble.

> 3 dayWorks. Doesnt take the pain away totally, but significantly. Stayed on through 3 lap swims over a 5 or 6 day period. I finally pulled it off. No skin irritation. Will buy again. Even reduced the pain during daily movement / chores.
