> 3 dayThis is the first time Ive ever used this product, and I wont be using it again...well at least not this brand. It claims to stay on for 24 hrs and that it is sweat proof and I call B.S. on both claims. The first day I used it, I taped for peroneal tendinitis, tarsal syndrome, and Achilles tendinitis and within an 4 hours it was already lifting and rolling. My skin was clean, dry and I was not doing anything other then walking around the house. The second time I taped for same issues after I got out of shower was dressed and dried and I immediately laid down for a nap and again when I woke the tape had lifted and rolled up in several places. I was really excited to try this product as I had seen it used and it has been recommended by several people I know that are extreme sport athletes. While on it truly does provide the support to my ankle and foot I was looking for, it truly is a let down that it just doesnt last long.

> 3 dayBoth the household members tried this. I broke my arm a few months ago and my PT put this type of tape on me and it worked great. I bought this one for my BF because he has extreme shoulder pain everyday all day. I told him to let me put this tape on and did the criss cross thing and he was amazed that the pain subsided greatly and immediately!

> 3 dayThis product works. I have runners knee on my right, and a bone contusion on my left and it helped with the pain! I purchased this tape to avoid using knee braces after my specialist recommended it. So far it’s helped with supporting my knees and relieving pain. I must admit that once in awhile I still get sudden shocks of pain with the tape on, which is to be expected hence my 5 star rating regardless. Nothing can be perfect. Anyway, it took me awhile to realize but you have to RUB THE TAPE once it’s on your skin so that it sticks properly. Rub it a good ~35seconds but not back and forth, rub it STRICTLY one direction. Otherwise you’re risking the tape peeling off from the edges. Then you have to wait a couple hours before you can do any vigorous activity or else the tape starts wrinkling real bad. Trust me I’m taking with experience. The tape sticks alright in water but it takes its time with drying. Peeling off the tape is surprisingly easy if you don’t rub it in. I am yet to find out how easy it is after actually rubbing it in. If you need 5inch strips from the 10inch just cut it in half and CURVE THE EDGES! If you don’t then the corners will peel. I recommend shaving the area where the tape will be placed because it hurts when it tugs the hairs.

> 3 dayI have patellofemoral syndrome in my left leg that I developed while hiking the White Mountains in New Hampshire. I did a lot of research and PT stretches and found that taping my knee provided the most relief. I not tape my knees before any vigorous physical activity and this tape in particular holds up to the sweat and the rubbing of my hiking pants. I’ve tried other kinesiology tapes, but this brand is the best!

> 3 dayAbout six years ago I was having problems with my plantar fasciitis and my pt recommended KT tape. I watched YouTube videos, bought some on Amazon, used it and it really helped. Recently Ive been having problems again. I bought some more. It doesnt stick like it used to. I used to wear it through showers, for a couple days. Now I put it on at night and its loose by the morning. It wont last through a shower at all. I shower at night, scrub my feet clean so its going on a completely clean surface. It helps, but where it used to last at least 3 days now it lasts 6 hours at most.

Greater than one weekI have been using KT tape over the past year to remedy different injuries on my foot and shoulder. Overall, I really like the benefits that KT tape has, but I dont necessarily agree with some of the more bold claims of total pain relief. KT tape is good at sticking to your skin and coaching your body and joints on how to move. This helps your body recover, but wont provide immediate pain relief, and will only cause pain to stop if you work on strengthening your muscles and joints for the future. What KT tape does best is prevent your body from making your injuries any worse. Ive used KT tape for my shoulder and foot. On my shoulder I had my roommate apply the tape after watching a YouTube video. This helped coach my shoulder and arm move in a way that wouldnt cause me more pain, but did not completely solve the source of the problem. With my foot, I am currently dealing with sesamoiditis/turf toe. The KT tape really helps my foot move in a way that wont cause me more pain so I dont irritate the injury. The main idea is that KT tape will help your body from further irritating your injuries, but wont solve major injuries without you putting in some work to recover. In terms of adhesion, the tape sticks fairly well. On areas that dont move much or rub against other surfaces the tape will stick to you for 2-4 days before peeling off on the edges. For areas like your feet, the tape will stick for less time. Often Ive only had 6 hours of wear on my feet, but if you are careful, you can get up to 2 days. Call me crazy, but it seems that the green color lasts longer than the dark blue color of the same variety. Ive been able to have the green tape adhere for days while the dark blue will only adhere for hours. KT tape will never stick over arm or leg hair. I guess this also would be true for chest and back hair as well. KT tape recommends shaving the area you need to adhere. I have noticed, even with the lightest of hair, the KT tape will come off within the hour if you try to put it over any hair. I have showered with KT tape many times. As long as you dont move the KT tape while it is wet or cover it with soap the KT tape will dry within 30-60 minutes and adhere just as strong. Sometimes Ive noticed that after a hot shower the KT tape feels like it has shrunk a tiny bit and feels tighter, but oddly this almost feels better for my joints. In terms of feel, the tape is not very noticeable on your body unless you accidentally stick it to hair, or start to sweat where you have the KT tape. The KT tape fabric feels like the average workout shirt material, soft to touch and slightly moisture wicking. Overall I like the idea of KT tape, it helps coach my body to move in a certain way to prevent further irritation of my injury. This ends up helping me feel better over time when I put in the effort to recover and heal while wearing KT tape.

> 3 dayI have foot paralysis and I have to tape my toes and ankle every day, so I go through a lot of tape. This stuff is good, it’s just more expensive than some other brands that work as well
