I originally ordered GP1092203 and that is for the same faucet, but a newer revision. If you have the older version then you will need this all brass and copper valve (the good old quality Kohler) otherwise the newer part number is largely plastic and wont even be close to fitting. Unfortunately the only way I know how to tell the difference is disassemble the faucet before ordering the replacement part.

The rotation of turning the water off (CW or CCW) is the key to selecting this cartridge or the GP77005, rather than hot or cold. Note that hot or cold is not on Kohler packaging, its the rotation to off that is specified on the package. The cartridges are reversible by removing the clip too. You will need a 5/8 deep socket to remove the cartridge, at least on my model faucet. These are OEM and work perfectly.

As expected, perfect for and easy install. Hardest part was removing the old valve. I used an impact driver with a deep socket head for removal.

Please Note: COLD is the right hand side Part number KOHLER GP77006 RP-Cold. $12.65 HOT is the left hand side. Part number KOHLER GP77005 RP-Hot. $6.34 The picture on AMAZON Prime shows Chrome finish is only the shine glare the parts are Brass. I used this two hot & cold to replace KOHLER 2 Faucet Wall Mount Roman Jacuzzi Tub from 1998 era. The new KOHLER brass valves does NOT have the Red plastic nor the blue plastic to indicate hot & cold. So the part numbers are the indicators of hot & cold. Please note that the cold brass valve has a plumbers blue dye on the top, but since it is on brass it shows as Red, dont let that confuses you that is the Hot valve. Perfect replacement for a valve that was getting stiff to operate due to hard water. OEM product in Kohler packaging..... at 1/3 the cost of the big box store. Took all of 5 minutes to replace. Its like a have a new faucet!
