10-11-2024I used to not agree with the hype for SSDs, I didnt think HDDs would be that much worse.

> 3 dayI installed this on my laptop and the system was able to see it. I tried multiple OS installers and they all returned errors during partitioning that stated the SSD was bad. Just to test one of the installers on the previous HDD to make sure it wasnt the culprit and it worked fine. Heres to hoping I can get a refund.

Greater than one weekTrying to get a bit more life out of my vintage 2008 EVGA 790I FTW mobo and Intel QX3360 Xenon before I do my major hardware refresh. Replaced my WD 150 gig Raptor harddrives with 4 of these units. Running a raid 5 config and couldnt be happier with the boost in load times and the small form factor as well. Not sure about long term reliability but with any important data always back up to the cloud, to another drive.

> 3 dayI didnt find out till after I purchased one of the SSD drives that they draw more power than a 2-1/2 hard drive. Substantially faster. There are SSD drives that do not draw excessive amount of power, but they are substantially more expensive than these SSD drives.
