    Windows 10 crashed on an update and wouldnt restore/reinstall on the same SSD again. So I got this for the OS install (the mobo had an unused M.2 slot) and it worked nicely.

    I have no clue how this sold state drive performs because I didnt manage to make it that far. I cannot install this into my laptop because the tolerances are so awful that the screw holes dont line up with the standard placement for screws. I tried to make it work, but I couldnt. At the end of the day, all I achieved was stripping a screw on my laptops hard drive caddy and rubbing a hole in one of the rubber parts. So now I need to replace this AND my hard drive caddy. Thanks, Kingston for the damage your product did to my laptop. I really appreciate it...

    I have a Lenovo y510p from 2013 that was unbelievably slow with the old hard drive. This SSD replacement made me abandon ideas of buying a new laptop. Fast boot times and app loading. Gaming is better as well. For the price, theres no reason to buy a new computer.
