Kingston 480GB A400 SATA 3 2.5 Internal SSD SA400S37/480G - HDD Replacement for Increase Performance

I have purchased drives for my computer for decades now. Every drive I have ever purchased included adapters for different power supplies and even data ribbon cables. Included software to both manage your drive and aid in cloning existing drive if needed. Package was VERY small with no extra freebees.

The drive isnt lightning fast, but it is faster than a conventional disk, and it is rated faster than many competitors in this price range. I have been using Kingston memory sticks on my mainboards for years, and I have always found them fast and reliable. I expected the same performance from a Kingston drive, and now that Ive been using it for awhile, I think it was a great value and a smart purchase. It is so small, and runs so cool that I didnt even bother to mount it in the case. I just left it hanging in the air by the SATA connector. Very good performance, very good value.

Start up was just as fast as it turned on within seconds and everything was already loaded in when it was one while with a standard hdd it would take about 10 seconds to load everything in. Overall great quality and excellent price for what you’re getting

After purchasing three other SSD to upgrade my very old MacBook Pro with no success this one worked! I removed the disc drive and I am using a much larger HDD for storage.

Kingston is known for decent quality and everything worked exactly as expected while installing this drive. I like the sleek look, although my tower doesnt have a clear panel it would definitely look good in one that does.

I purchased a couple of these for multiple machines. I have used many kingston PC components before and was not shy to order this brand because of my personal experience in quality. So far I have not been let down. The speeds are great, not the best for a SSD, but will blow any disk hard drive away. And it was only around 20$.

Bought this for my old 2010 Dell vostro 3500 i3. Installation was very easy. Works fine, i dont have any issues with it. The difference between the hdd and ssd is noticeable. Improved performance
