> 3 dayI currently own a MacBook that I have been using for Web Development and graphic Design. At times I will be comparing my experience between my currently MacBook which has some age on it, its from 2016 and still running strong and this laptop.

Greater than one weekI was expecting this laptop to be a bit under-powered, and not quite up to the mark in video and audio. I was completely wrong: this machine blew past my expectations. For a general use laptop, used for web browsing, word processing, and similar purposes, this is more than an adequate machine, this is really very good. The performance is more than acceptable: I havent noticed anything being unusually slow or erratic, it just runs smoothly and fast. The display is 1920x1080 (so HD but not 4K), and clear and crisp for watching online video (for example). The audio too is surprisingly good: you can play music on it and enjoy the well-balanced sound, no cringing necessary.

Greater than one weekWe needed a laptop for our son to do distance learning on during this time. It does a great job for what we bought it for. My son has no issues at all using it for his school work.

> 3 dayLess than 8 months of use and the WiFi module stopped working and there are no drivers on the HP site to update the software. Software support only valid for 30 days after purchase. So HP blames Windows for a botched update. Independent computer tech says there is no fix for the missing wireless software drivers. Now we have an 8 month old laptop that can not connect to the internet. Do not buy HP

08-11-2024Ive had laptops last me for years. Never had HP though. Bought this one based on the price, but have had trouble with it ever since. And now just after the warranty expires after only just a year, the battery is dying and there is zero customer service unless you pay extra. The HP driver software isnt compatible with standard Intel drivers, so if you install based on the alerts from Intel it will mess up your display and then youll have to troubleshoot how to fix it.
