Greater than one weekFor a mid-priced laptop this thing falls short. Why did they make the letters on the keyboard so lite? Theyre really hard to read unless the light is perfect and I have to constantly face the screen down just to illuminate them. No Ethernet port so an adapter is necessary which uses up one of the only two usb ports.

> 3 dayThis laptop is best for web browsing and basic application tasks. It doesnt have enough power for audio/video editing, gaming or power hungry programs. The screen leaves a lot to be desired especially if you also have a higher end computer that you use elsewhere. Recently I have had this laptop turn on at night and the loud fan noise will wake me up. It doesnt seem to be updating and Ive checked and changed a lot of system settings without finding the reason why. Every now and then it will freeze and reboot without warning. So far I am not impressed with this entry level laptop. I would recommend spending a little more and getting a better screen, faster processor and overall better quality. My iPhone 11 makes this feel antiquated. 3 stars.

> 3 dayMy other laptop was almost six years old so I was really excited to get this new one. Its got a solid state drive, which helps make it faster and lighter. I didnt realize how HEAVY my other computer was until I picked up this one. The screen is also very clean and clear and I love how the text displays. Im an author and a blogger, so I do a lot of text-based work on my computers, and I was so impressed by the display. Everything looks so neat--

> 3 dayThis laptop only has two USB ports not 3 as stated. Would have been a deal breaker if I had known that.

> 3 dayI am happy with this laptop. Using this touchpad is awkward. Often the laptop does strange things unless I am fastidiously careful with my fingertip. I am satisfied with Windows 10.

> 3 dayI would not recommend this laptop. Worked “ok” for a year and then the WiFi/network adapter quit working. I looked through other reviews and same thing. Purchased 5/31/20 but for whatever reason the warranty was less than a year after purchase. I bought an adapter so it can still be used but must be plugged into Ethernet cord. No more WiFi is not good for less than a year old.

> 3 dayI bought this laptop on 08/2020, at first it works fine but then about 6 months later the screen started to go dark. Long story short, I have called HP tech support about 4 times (be ready to spend about an hour on the phone with them), after each time that they reboot and check my computer, they promised that the problem was fixed, but the issue keep happening. I also send my compute to HP for repair (I have to pay $26 to expedite shipping) they kept it about three weeks. For weeks later, the problem came back. Today I am calling HP again, and now they are telling me that they will not replace it, that I have to send my laptop for repair to them again. Seriously HP!!! No buying this brand ever again.
