> 3 dayHad to return it, didn’t work with my car. Maybe it was just my garage.

Greater than one weekI bought one of these years ago and I still use it. I keep that one in my car but decided I want one for when I go walking in my neighborhood at night. I dont want to carry keys and my keypad at the garage is finicky (have to put the cover in a perfect position), and the remotes that came with the opener are too big to fit in small pockets. This little remote is easy to slip into a pocket, including the laser cut pocket on my favorite leggings. The extra button will be for my moms house, since she also has the same brand of opener.

> 3 dayIt works as advertised but the range is much less than the one that came with the garage door opener. Sometimes I need to be as close as 10 feet from the garage door to get it to send the signal to the opener. I use this one to give to house guests to use.

Greater than one weekThe controller works very well. It was easy to code to our garage door. Works as described.

> 3 dayThis remote is fantastic. It works with my Legacy garage door opener and the programing was so simple. Its compact and fits easily on a key chain or in your pocket. The overview that comes with the remote is vague but the instructions route you to a website which has a video instruction guide. For the Legacy all you do is Press the learn button and hold until you get a flashing light, press the button you want to program and the flashing light will go off, press the remote button again and it works. It worked on the first try and we could not be happier. I would recommend this to everyone.

Greater than one weekAfter moving into a recently purchased home in which the garage remotes were missing, I purchased these as replacements. My last house had an intellicode opener with the single button Genie remotes and I must say that I prefer those to these new remotes. The 3 buttons are small and do not have the best tactile feedback when pressed. Plus - I only have 1 door, so the other 2 buttons are just in the way and even after 3 months, I still press the wrong button - especially if my visor is down when pulling in the drive. On the plus side - programming was simple and did not mess up my exterior keypad. These remotes work, but Id go with the single button models if you only have 1 door. 07/14/14 Update Ive downgraded this remote to 2 stars from my original ranking of 3. In the last couple months it has not performed well compared to a similar Genie Remote purchased at The Home Depot. The range is short and I cannot get it to work reliably while clipped to the visor. As a result, it is rattling around in a cup holder and needs to be picked up and aimed at the garage to work. In addition, the poor tactile feedback is leading to many stops and starts when it does work because I cannot tell when the button has engaged. It still works, so 2 stars instead of 1, but I would look into a different remote for a Genie replacement if possible.

> 3 dayI got tired of those Tombstone visor mounts, they dont fit on a key chain. And, now days you cant leave them hanging on your visor, punks will break in and then loot your garage. These programmed up just fine and have a good range. My wife likes the size, they fit in her purse easier.

> 3 dayThis garage opener is very appealing to the eye and definitely does the job! My only complaint is that when you click the button to open or close your garage, there is a very *slight* delay in it. The first time I used it, I didn’t know that so I kept clicking it and I’m sure you can imagine my garage going up and down over and over lol. I’m used to the delay now, and like I said, it works good and looks good!

> 3 dayWorks just fine, just as long as you program it right. I have Genie Pro Stealth overhead. This is how you program it: press learn code on overhead, light will blink. press button on remote, light on overhead will turn solid. press button remote again, light on overhead will go out. press button on remote for third time, and garage door will open. Understand that the remote control can be programmed as intellicode 1 and intellicode 2. If the light on the remote turns green, then its set on 2, if its red then its set on 1. For Genie Pro Stealth, you want it to light up red. To switch code, hold down the button until both green and red light turn on. press button twice and the lights will go out. press button again, and the light will confirm that its been switched to red. the end, now go program it. you are all welcome.
