Although all information, including that on the box, indicates a visor clip is included, there was none in the box. I was able to use the clip off my old remote, but there should have been a clip in the box. Other than that, programming the remote was easy and the remote seems to work fine.

It works (syncs and opens door), has good range in, and its small enough. Why 3 stars? Its a clicker, and it should click! The buttons dont provide enough tactile feedback. For me thats a big deal - I mostly use it while on my bike, and put it in my thin wind-breaker jackets chest-pocket... I can never make it work through the jacket, all the buttons feel the same and I cannot seem to be sure if I pressed it or not. I now use the old clicker - twice as big, but I always know if it clicks even when inside my jacket.

This remote was exactly what I was wanting. Following the included directions, it was extremely easy to program. It works very well up to a distance of about 30. I often carry one in my shirt pocket and it hasnt inadvertently gone off. I use this remote to control one garage door, but like that this can control up to three door if I need to do so in the future. I highly recommend this 3 button garage door opener by Genie.

Installed in less than 30 seconds! For my model I didnt need the instructions provided. All I had to do was remove the white cover from the opener. Pull the strip from the remote. Push the black button to the left of the light bulb. Press my desired button on the remote once and release. Press that same button to operate. 2nd remote same process. Both work great! Took me longer to carry and open the ladder.

We purchased two of these and both have very poor range honestly i have to be right at the garage door for it to work... Genie please test your products before you release them to the public!! Now I need to return or exchange these for the Genie GM3T-R Master 3-Button Remote since I hear those have much better range.. Pros Great Price Nice and slim Strong clip that fits on even thick visors Very easy to setup program -------------------------------------------------------- update we ended up trading this for Genie GM3T-R Master 3-Button Remote and it does work much better for our garage door opener and environment it may vary so keep this option in mind!

Update to my initial review. This is still a great garage door opener. I have no had any problems at all! The Genie G3T-R Intellicode2 3-Button Remote (Works With Genie Garage Openers Only) is exactly what I was looking for. My wife and I bought a house and the previous garage door openers did not have the clip on them to attach to a car visor. My wife and I went to Home Depot one day for something for the house and we saw these remotes out of the corner of our eyes. After checking out the remotes I immediately looked on Amazon to see if they had them. Of course they did and they were cheaper. I immediately bought them from Amazon. Once they arrived I immediately programmed them (I bought 2). I did not have any problems. They were very easy to program. They also come with clips you can attach and put on your car visor. Or you can attach them to your key chain if you would like. But I think they are too bulky to keep on a key chain. I tried to program all 3 buttons to open and close the door. But I was only able to program 1 button at a time. No big deal though. Over all this is a good remote. It is not too big and it gets the job done.

These came with dead batteries, so I ended up having to replace batteries before I could set them up. Disappointed that I had to go spend money right away on something that was supposed to come with batteries
