Easy set-up: just read (and re-read) the directions until they become clear, touch a few buttons, and its done! I had to climb a ladder to read which buttons were what, but once that was clear to me, everything went smoothly. It took longer to get up and down the ladder than to program it once I did! I am a 65 year old female and our Genie unit was only 4 years old, but I lost my remote... Its always nice to have an extra, if my other one ever shows up.....

I have a Genie garage door opener, and this guy works great. Cheaper than Home Depot, and I didnt even need to leave my house!

This is an original remote made by Genie so of course it works perfectly. Dont try to save $5 by purchasing a knockoff, you will be disappointed when it only works sometime.

My wife lost her garage door remote. This was an exact replacement and fairly easy to program.

After the battery died in one of the remotes I managed to misplace it and decided to order a replacement. Of course as soon as the new one arrived I found the missing one. Keeping this one since we have four vehicles and a three car garage with a single and double door. I have to confess, in all the years Ive used this remote I didnt understand why there were three buttons on it but only one opened the door. Each button can be programmed to open a different door if you have three single garage doors - genius! The only indication that you are pressing the correct button is a little green indicator between the red Genie logo and the bottom button that lights up.

Used this for our new home because the previous owner forgot the old ones. Very easy to program and install. Had it working in less than 5 minutes. Just read the instructions and away you go. Range is good too.
