We had this working within minutes!

We had a genie keypad for the last 5 years, but it’s been malfunctioning badly the last year so we finally made the switch. Wanted something small I could keep in my purse and my husband in his pocket. These seemed like the perfect solution. Programming was easy- press the learn button on our garage opener, press one of the buttons on the remote, press button again. Done! The issue? Every time I programmed one remote, it would remove the programming from the other remote. After 2 days of this, I finally googled the problem. Turns out this is a common occurrence and the fix is to wipe all programming from the garage opener itself and program back in each remote one by one. After I did, both remotes worked! Took off a star because this was not included in the instructions and couldn’t find on the genie website.

They work well

We ordered two of these remotes to replace the old/missing/broken remotes to our Genie IS550/A opener. The instructions worked perfectly! It was very easy to clear the old remotes from the openers memory and to program the two new remotes into it. Couldnt be happier! (Note: on the Genie IS550/A, the programming button youll need to push is under the plastic light cover. Four screws hold it in place, and then youre in business.)
