Exo Terra Screen Cover for Hinged Door

Far more sturdy than the original terrarium top. Seemingly great construction and the grate on top is perfectly solid as well. Only complaint is I wish the upper rim was rubber lined so it didnt touch the front doors when they swung open.

Adopted 2 Hamsters had a screen cover for one enclosure but needed a cover for the second. I was unsure about ordering online but took measurements and ordered. Gast delivery, packed nicely, and it fit my 55g tank. Light enough to open easily, but sturdy enough to keep the cats out. I love that its hinged and will probably order another one to put on the other enclosure.

This is absolutely perfect, and the only reason I gave it 4/5 is that it will need clips to keep it secure as there is about an inch gap if I push the screen all the way to one end. Used with Aqueon 40 gallon tank for a hamster habitat. Will update if anything bad happens but it seems to be of great quality.

Definitely not made to fit a 40 gallon breeder; its way too loose and slides in every direction, which would make it easy for even a small snake to lift. Needs 4-6 heavy duty clips or straps to remain in place. I do like the hinge though; we upgraded from a small citter cage with a sliding lid to a 40 as an adult cage, the hinge makes it easier to access the cage without having to be set aside elsewhere.

Over time my active red ear slider with all her splashes rusted this thing. Im going to have to find another alternative.
