Exo Terra Screen Cover for Hinged Door

Been needing one of these for a long time. So cool that it opens on either side and I don’t have to move the light fixtures.

Perfect for our 40 gal breeder tank. My husband and I love that we dont have to take of the entire cover when we want to access our RES turtle. Lifting one side is so convenient. Our UVB light and heat lamp sit perfect on this; Needless to say, I feel assured that the heat lamp will never burn through it. It is slightly bigger than the 40 gal breeder tank but this is not an issue at all as the edges are well design for any cables you may have on the corner even with the little extra room.

This was the wrong size, though it said in the description that it should for my size tank. Its going to cost me $5 to return it, so that is a big waste. Im the mean time, my snakes remain in tubs while I try to find the right lid.

Finally found the right size lid for my 40 gallon (36in x 18in) bearded dragon tank. My guy was getting too big to fit through the small, hinged opening on the original lid! Very well build and measures true too size which is 36.5in x 18.5in!

Really easy to get in and out of the tank

Just adopted a bearded dragon, the tank he came with had a one piece lid that was a pain in the butt to open with hot lights on it. This is a perfect solution! Along with the Sunray 50 watt that I ordered for him, that mounts to the side of the tank, I have NO problems reaching into the enclosure now!

Over time my active red ear slider with all her splashes rusted this thing. Im going to have to find another alternative.

Got this one after my older one fell apart after many years of use. Very sturdy & stable. I have a cat that loves to sleep on top of my turtle tank & it holds her with no problems at all. Great tank topper

The Exo Terra screen cover is excellent! The split-cover design is great for feeding critters without having to move the heating/basking lamps in reptile tanks which lengthens the life of your bulb (no real research spring this, purely observational). The screen is high quality and is properly mounted to the brackets. Cheers!

Fit perfect for a 55 gallon tank and was well worth the money.
