This lid is PERFECT!

We have 2 cats that are very interested in our crested gecko. When they were kittens they didnt weigh enough nor seemed interested in using their claws on the old screen cover. They got bigger and ended up tearing through the screen (they liked walking across/sleeping on/ and sometimes using their claws). This product solved the problem completely. Both cats have been on top of the cage and it holds their weight no problem. They dont try to claw at it as it doesnt have the give that the mesh screens do. We have had it in place several months now and no issues- easy to access cage with the hinged design

Perfect for our 40 gal breeder tank. My husband and I love that we dont have to take of the entire cover when we want to access our RES turtle. Lifting one side is so convenient. Our UVB light and heat lamp sit perfect on this; Needless to say, I feel assured that the heat lamp will never burn through it. It is slightly bigger than the 40 gal breeder tank but this is not an issue at all as the edges are well design for any cables you may have on the corner even with the little extra room.

Very sturdy. Nice screen. I use it on my turtle tank. Dean definitely approves of this purchase since I can put his heat lamp right on it so he can bask in safety. The hinge makes it easy to access one end of the tank without having to move the lamps off the other side.
