Ive tried to format this using windows, linux and apple....for some reason the drive will not format...its dead...im scratching my head...

14Jan23 - update - I sent the unit directly to Crucial on an RMA and they are sending a replacement unit. Turnaround was about 10 days. Update to 3 stars based on hope. I will post when able to confirm hopes were realized.

I have a MacBook Pro mid-2012 13 and about a year ago, after dealing with it getting slower and slower, I upgraded the Ram from 8GB to 16GB, sat back and waited for the magic to happen. It didnt. No magic. No discernible difference at all. *Cue sad face* Then, a few months ago, I decided that I could no longer wait forever for my computer to do the things I wanted it to do. Like start up and open email. So I went on the hunt for a solution. I found a message board where someone said that he had the exact same MacBook as me and that he installed a Crucial SSD and it was awesome.

Works great on my old dell inspiron laptop.

I have purchased about 20 if these so far. They all work well. Most important, they working perfect in an USB adapter so cloning with their free software is easy! Also, their tech support is excellent.

Ich habe mir diese SSD nun schon zum zweiten mal gekauft (davor die 2TB Version). Da ich davor schon sehr Zufrieden war. Dieses Mal also die 4TB Version (Maximum bei der MX500).

I installed on Dell OptiPlex 7010 0ld desktop and after activating Crucial s proprietary MOMENTUM CACHE it has achieved 3627 Mb/s read; 3930, Mb/s write :) see benchmark image. As an It professional, I will replace all legacy HDD s from workstations as soon as my testing period convince me that no ups/downs with certain time using it.

Usato per sostituire hd del mio nas. Ottimo, velocissimo, buon compromesso alternativo per un ssd non nativo per nas, ma comunque dalle ottime prestazioni
