I purchased this w/ the intention of upgrading an old Dell Inspiron 3558. The boot process was slow, the log in screen was dragging, and just getting to the desktop took 10 min on a good day. Everything else was a laggy experience and painful to use. Forget browsing the internet.

You have to purchase a sata data cable and some bolts to have it installed on PC.

Worked great. When switching from my hdd to this ssd via cloning, I did run into an error screen, but after a restart all was well. My computer is much snappier.

Solved my wifes hard drive issues in her Lenovo laptop

This was a replacement drive . The original was the same make and size but I could not install it. It had a bad sector and was impossible to migrate my operating system and the contents of my old computer drive using acronis software. In fact the faulty drive bricked my destop computer and now Ive had to re install the operating system. This second replacement drive was easy to clone and upgrade my laptop. Just read the instructions and download the acronis software for crucial. I used it to create a bootable linux based acronis flash drive and then used it to clone my laptop hard drive ( which was a Crucial 525 gig SSD) to a larger 2000 gig ssd drive. Its easy when the drive isnt faulty.
