> 3 dayI got a couple of these to upgrade the drives in both my daughters laptops. They use them for college so I didnt want to cheap out, though these crucial drives are really affordable. I often use cheaper drives for non critical applications but I trust these MX series drives for more important things. I have not had one fail yet.

> 3 dayI bought a 1TB Crucial SSD to replace my old WD HDD which started to crash slowly on my laptop, with included SMART failures. I must say that Im very satisfied with the purchase.

Greater than one weekLove it. Its cheap , its encrypted and cloning is easy with the software from crucials website. Replaced and old hdd in my Lenovo laptop, boot time went from 3-5 mins from cold start to webpage to 20 seconds from cold start to webpage.

Greater than one weekI had this an a game drive in my desktop and its dead after 8 months. I moved it to an external enclosure to see if there was some connection error, but its just dead. Update. Mailed it in over a month ago...nothing. Hard to recommend this thing.

> 3 dayI purchased this to help turn a cheap old laptop -- a Mid-2012 MacBook Pro 13, aka MacBookPro9,2 -- into a decent daily driver with a slightly weak CPU. Installation was extremely easy and painless as this is just a straightforward 2.5 SATA drive and installs just as easily as any other. Performance is perfectly acceptable for my use case and I had no trouble installing MacOS 10.15 Catalina and using the (unsupported but easily enabled) TRIM support for third party storage.

> 3 dayMx500 models have been a great product sold at my work for over a year. Very low faure count over 100s. So buying some personally was a no brainer.

Greater than one weekThought it would be plug n play on an ASROCK mobo but that wasnt the case. Data transfer rate would drop to 0 when copying large files to the SSD and hang the Windows explorer. Attempted to update the SSD firmware but had no luck on the ASROCK mobo. I was able to update the firmware when using it on a Gigabyte mobo. Once firmware updated, everything works as expected on the ASROCK mobo. Very annoying but once firmware is updated it works well

> 3 dayPicked up the MX500 after the Toshiba HD in my Lenovo T460 crapped out. Very affordable, easy install and works perfectly.
