Took less then 20 minutes to install. Cloned old 5200 rpm drive. Screaming fast!!

This makes a 10 year old i5 processor run smoothly again and I love it.

I have always liked Crucial products, this is my first SSD from them. I chose this model as this one was highly recommended for its speed and reliability in the sata3 class. The documentation gives you a link to get cloning and optimization software but I did not need it because I use Arch Linux and everything I require for duplicating my file system and setting partition assignments can be done from the command line on any LIVE disk. Within an hour I had my system transferred to this new drive and I enabled TRIM through SystemD to ensure hardware longevity.

Mala experiencia con el clonado que al final tuve que hacer una instalación nueva del sw.

I wont start by trying to compare this drive with the Samsung EVO or WD drives. Theres plenty of reviews already here about that topic, by people far more qualified than me. I would say though, that I, as an intermediate computer user - not a boffin, but have no problem opening a laptop and changing a HDD - I doubt I would notice any real difference in performance between this, the EVO, and the WD.

So far it works well in my 2011 MacBook Pro. Freshly installed April 2019

Muy contento con la compra, el SSD funciona perfectamente lo revise con CrystalDisk y si arroja las velocidades que muestran en su pagina oficial y ademas llego antes de lo esperado y sin problemas a mi ciudad Bogota.
