> 3 dayStill waiting for higher capacity SSDs to drop in price, but I bought this one because I needed to replace a smaller RAID 0. Less drives is less potential failure since RAID 1 also has no redundancy, and I was shooting for extra capacity anyways, so 2TB is fine. I havent noticed any difference between this single drive and the 2 860 EVOs I had in RAID 0.

> 3 dayOn average it is good drive, but I expected something more. I have had Samsung 830 Pro ssd, and it worked a little faster as a boot drive for windows 10. But as I said, on average it is very good drive, stable and fast.

Greater than one weekFollowed Crucials instructions To the letter and only get a error when booting up. After 6 hours diagnosing I’m done. Doesn’t work and a waste of my time. Drive doesn’t work and just loops in endless screens trying to diagnose and fix the issue. Returning the drive. It’s garbage. I’d give it no stars if that was an option. Buy something better like a new PC.

Greater than one weekUpgraded my 180 gig SSD in my laptop to this. I was able to clone everything right over from my laptop using the crucial software downloaded from their website with no issues. Popped right into the spacer/holder with no issues. Laptop recognized it with no issues.

> 3 dayI have a new acer nitro laptop this April that I have almost fully upgraded. So I decided to put windows 10 back on my old 2011 HP pavilion G6 from scratch because she was full of viruses. I wanted to use her as a backup to take to places that I wouldnt want to have worry about breaking it or it getting stolen like my new laptop. I had windows 10 on it before years ago but dont remember it being this slow. I mean it was unbearably slow. I guess windows 10 now with all the new updates requires better specs than it did in the beginning. I already have her ram fully upgraded to 8GB so the only other option was an SSD. Ive had trouble with western digital in the past so this time the price was right and Ive heard many good things about crucial so I decided to buy this drive. I actually bought a 2 TB drive for my nitro as well. I knew it would speed up my pc but man whoa was I ever pleased. It actually sped up this pc to the point that opening programs and folders and windows load times was not that much worse than my new laptop. To say Im impressed is an understatement for sure. It actually made my laptop seem like a brand new pc to tell you the truth. The original drive had transfer speeds of about 80 MB/s but this one on crystal disk mark says 558.8 MB/s read and 470 write. As SSD the benches were a little lower and more realistic. The read on that benchmark was 503 MB/s and write was 445 MB/s. Still very good for a laptop that turned 10 years old last month. I never actually tried it for gaming but gave it 5 stars anyway. I know it will be good because it can transfer fast. So it will load games fast as well. Games from this laptops era would probably take a few seconds to load now. It wont speed up my nitro because she already has 2 NVME drives in her which are really fast. Its just extra storage. 5 star SSD I definitely recommend especially if youre upgrading an old pc like me.

> 3 dayI needed a little more storage space, and these days I favor SSDs over the ol spinny platter guys. When I saw this go on sale I jumped at the chance and purchased a 1TB drive. I mounted it externally using a Sabrent doohickey and quickly got the volume partitioned and formatted. Ive been using it for storage ever since with no complaints or issues. I love how quickly it loads files and the performance has been spectacular.
