> 24 hourI am a die-hard Western Digital Caviar Black owner, so I was VERY skeptical using anything else. The value-for-dollar-of-performance in this drive is almost unbelievable. No issues to install or use, and it is INSANELY fast. If you are using a mechanical drive, regardless of RPM, you NEED to get this drive. It is a night and day comparison. I am a believer and will definitely be using Crucial products in the future!

> 24 hourWorks well in my Dell Inspiron 5555. Formatted it externally and cloned it overnight, then installed in less than 10 minutes the next morning. Boot time is incredibly faster. Much less wait on disk and less power consumed. Nice to have the old drive as a backup.

> 24 hourI got this because I ran out of NVMe slots on my system. I use it to hold photo and 4k video files for Lightroom and Premiere Pro. While this should have the raw speed for this task, in practice, it stutters a bit, especially after files have just been copied to the drive. Like, there would be a split second after I click on a video file before it will lauch VLC. I dont experience this at all with a NVMe drive.
