Very well turned rods, will work great when making brass screws for my magnetic sensitive equipment.

Used to make a replacement part for a lid that broke when dropped. I had to trim down to .147 from 3mm and worked like a charm. I am sure I will find many uses for these rods

This came in plastic holder and was as described. It was a little oxidized and not as clean in the pictures but that was to be expected. The cut area was not as clean either, but again to be expected. Nothing really to complain about. I will clean it both of the surface and the ends before I use it any way. Will see if there are any issues with this. Will update if anything happens.

I ordered this brass rod for making small parts with my miniature metal lathe. The rod arrived in a hard plastic protective case, and wasnt covered in tape or marker like some other metals Ive sourced elsewhere. There were no defects, including scratches or dings in the surface. The ends were finished nicely, which was a surprise, since most small pieces of metal rod Ive purchased have rough cut ends from being sawed to length. If youre looking for a quality piece of brass, this is a good source.Ill be back when I need different sizes, or more of this one. Im very happy with the quality and really secure packaging.

Im so happy to have this set of rods in my work shop. Mainly, the larger diameter rods will be used for keeping the scales on the knives I make as I dabble with blacksmithing. The smaller ones are great for repair work - I actually TIG weld rods like this to fill holes in larger brass objects - tricky but it works like a charm (yes, in a well ventilated environment). But yeah, for the price, Ill get a ton of use out of these brass rods. Its worth the money for just knowing I have them available for any number of uses, to be honest. Very, very happy.

I needed a bit longer brass rod to utilize as a soft punch for a project. The old one I owned was a bit too short. This 12 piece of round stack brass shoild be perfect for my intended use at a price that wont break the bank. It was supplied in a plastic slip on case which I believe I will keep as a storage place for the brass rod. Met all of my expectations!

Its a brass rod, but more importantly its shipped in a standard rod plastic type tooling case, which keep the rod from getting banged up or scratched. Good price for a nice chunk of accurately sized brass. Exactly as advertised, very happy with it!

I mounted it up in my lathe and tested the material for machinability. There were no issues. This rod is destined to make brass highlights for my metal projects.
