Two brass rods, straight as arrows and within tolerance the entire length. Came in a great slip case to keep them from getting nicked or roughed up in transit. This is nice because these are going to be used for decorative purposes to the cleaner they look to start, the easier the polish will be later.

Got this for an upcoming project. The brass is bright and straight. I measured and it is exactly 3/8 of an inch wide and 12 inched long. No significant machining marks will make finishing easier. The cuts on the ends are vert fine grained and need nothing prior to working. Great raw material.

The precision and quality are far above other similar products I have had before. There are no knicks, dings or rust. It is simply the best it can be for an amazingly low price. Add the bonus of a very unique and functional storage container rather than the usual plastic zip bag and Im over the moon happy. If you use brass rods in your crafting, work shop or machining area, this is a great deal. Im planning on using these in my windchimes and garden metal art. Theyre brass rods that I needed for a project. Theyre finished well, and the ones I received are dimensionally accurate. Cant ask for much more. Come in multiple diameters and will probably order more for other projects I have planned.

Im so happy to have this set of rods in my work shop. Mainly, the larger diameter rods will be used for keeping the scales on the knives I make as I dabble with blacksmithing. The smaller ones are great for repair work - I actually TIG weld rods like this to fill holes in larger brass objects - tricky but it works like a charm (yes, in a well ventilated environment). But yeah, for the price, Ill get a ton of use out of these brass rods. Its worth the money for just knowing I have them available for any number of uses, to be honest. Very, very happy.
